It’s amazing to me that after so many many years of minimising that I can still find things to donate. I am presently going through my entire house again. As I minimise I reach a new level of feeling anxiety from stuff and know it’s time for another declutter. It reminds me that this is a marathon, not a sprint.
@danniraearranged2 жыл бұрын
Its so true!!! I have been on this journey well over a year and still have items to donate! And I so know where yout coming from! I start to feel very anxious if I notice were accumulating a lot of stuf, e.g. clothes, I have to go through clothes again. I haven't gone through clothes in a long time and I was the only one who decluttered the most, so Ian and the kids have (in my opinion a lot lol) I'll dream about it until I declutter it 🤣 same with the silverware, I had so many spoons it was driving me nuts, stuff like that never used to bother me! Always so HAPPY to see you here with me Joanne! Hugs xo

Hey danni. Wanted to recommend what we use on our stove top. I tried using a microfiber cloth on it when we first got it and it was still warm and I tried taking the cloth and was trying to quickly wipe the few drops of water off of it and the print of the microfiber cloth got imprinted on the top of stove . A friend of mine recommended what he uses on his so we picked up a box of Weiman cook top cleaning kit and used the cleaner and the razor blade that comes in kit and the print that got left behind from the cloth that wasn't coming off with just wiping off the surface after using the blade it scraped right off .

Hey Danni I love your long and chatty videos. It feels like I'm in the room with you and we are talking with each other. Your valentine's decor is very pretty, love it. I keep my winter decor out (non Christmas) and then I have a sign I put out on my mantle for Valentine's. So mine is very minimal. My birthday is tomorrow (19th) of January so I just have my mom's card she sent me on there. As far as keeping my house tidy the main rooms I focus on is the living room and kitchen. I make sure every night before going to bed, it's picked up. We don't bring any dishes in other rooms so that part is easy. At 1130 I go through my kitchen again to make sure it's ready for the next day. I "shine" my sink on Sundays to keep it shiny. I use the TODY app alot for all my daily, weekly and monthly clean. One more thing, I sent you something on IG. It's a link to Cass(Clutterbug) home organized your. I about flipped when I heard her say her house is 1400 square feet!!! That's small. You just have to see that video, it's linked to you on IG.

For some reason our living room and 4 season stays pretty clean, its the kitchen, dining room, main bathroom and Ians and I's room that gets flipped upside down all the time LOL. I dont really have winter decor, I have some spring summer decor but no winter decor, other than Christmas decor. I was actually kind of sad to take doen all the Christmas decor, I felt like it went by way too fast! I seen your message on IG, ill have to check out the link to Cas from Clutterbugs video! Danni, love that you packed so much into todays video. You work so hard to keep up with things. I loved the valentines DIYs. However, do yourself a favour and buy yourself some mugs and a set of shatterproof glasses and try not making the ‘Ranch Jars’ a thing. LOL 😊 Also, I am exactly the same as you, when I get a cleaning, declutter or organising project in my mind I start it and will not finish until it is completed. This is regardless of how long it takes, even if I am up until really late at night because otherwise it will play on my mind until it is done. To clean your stove top coat it in Pink Stuff and use a micro glass or plastic scraper with a thin edge to scrape it off. To get the paint off your heart three tier tray use a metal kitchen sink scourer. Your home looks so beautiful now you’ve reset it.❤

It came 2 days ago and because I had cropped it I was cut off out of the picture! I guess I never noticed the crop properly! Lol Everyone else was there but me. 😜 I ordered another one and didn’t crop it. I hope it’s right this time. 🤪 If you spray vinegar onto the baking soda it will bubble up and soften things. Then use a scouring pad or razor scraper to clean it. The 3 tier tray looks amazing! I like the wreath too! Your whole house looks festive and beautiful! Great job!! Did you pick late 80's sitcom music as an opener? Yes, and I'm here for it! Jars- the way I had to come to grips with getting rid of Mother's collection of jars was that it wasn't jars. It was a collection of air. Of space. So, if you ever get to the point of having to keep or toss a jar, ask if you want the glass more or the space INSIDE the glass more. We ended up getting rid of 6-8 large boxes of Mother's jars. That was a LOT of space reclaimed. For the stove - there are scrapers made for that stuck on stuff. A razor blade will also work, but not if you're prone to damaging yourself. Socks - Sock Ring Holders. It lets you wash the socks in pairs so you don't have to sort them. You might like them. More power to you for decorating. I'm still working on getting the last of the Christmas bits and bobs back into the attic. Something ALWAYS gets left down, without fail. Great job on the house, it looks amazing!!!! You conquered the house!
@danniraearranged2 жыл бұрын
You always ALWAYS, help me out SO MUCH! I cant tell you enough how much I appreciate your comments! I would never have thought to use a sock ring holder! I didnt even know such a thing existed. LOL. I hate socks, I hate socks so much LMBO! And what a fantastic point on the jars. The jars started as a collection to actual use as drinking glasses but has now gotten way out of hand, its like every dang jar I see that I think is cute I want to do something with it, whether its using it as a drinking glass or making a DIY out of it, I have to stop LOL. When I do my semi annual kitchen deep clean, declutter and organize in the kitchen, we'll have to go through the jars, unless it really starts to bother me sooner LOL. Ill have to check out the scrapper, ill see if I can find one off amazon, although the razor blade is a great idea, I may try that first! And it was a little sad taking down all of the Christmas decor, I felt like 2022 went by incredibly fast! Always so HAPPY to see you here with me Leigh, I appreciate ya so much! hugs 🥰

Try Cerama Bryte to clean your glass cooktop. They have it in Amazon and you can get the yellow plastic scraper that is recommended with one of the Amazon deals. If you use a metal razor blade, there is a possibility of actually marring and scratching the cooktop surface.
