I get depressed in the winter time so having my trees with soft white lights brings me comfort. I tend to decorate with natural elements (pine boughs from our outdoor trees, dehydrated fruit and stuff) and not much decor so I think it feels less cluttered and lasts us all winter. I take everything down in feb sometime. I cant give up nights by the tree and fire while reading and it snowing outside ❤ Its my way of making peace with winter lol

I literally said ahhhh after you finished. It’s always so refreshing to take everything down after the holidays. I got my first 9’ tree this year so I was super desperate to put it up 11/1. 😂. I always take my tree down on 1/1 and do a deep clean like you. Then I balance my checkbook and wrote down some spiritual personal professional financial goals for the month. I don’t do resolutions as i think monthly goals are more realistic. Happy New Year 🥳

A tackle box or tool box might work for the boys, they come in different sizes depending on their needs. The Container Store used to sell something called a Busy Box and we used those for toy storage when my kiddos were younger

I found all this kind of videos very helpful and I would like to say thanks to every moom who find time to share her ways to manage the hause, as nobody in the teach us about that. There are schools and classes for everything in the world. You don't get a job without courses in that profession, but you get married and have kids without any classes. You know what I mean. I really improved my life watching this kind of videos on KZbin and I found emotional help as well seeing that other mooms can do it with more then three kids. Thanks a lot.

We have 5 adult kids with significant others. We celebrate after Christmas with them. It was our first year with our 1st grandchild. It was so fun celebrating on the 27th. The table and chair set we use for my grandchildren is the LAZY BUDDY kids study table and chair set on Amazon. One side is for building blocks, but the other side is a flat surface for crafts or just to eat at. It is adjustable and it works great for our needs. It is not wooden though and I know that is what you said you wanted. Just a thought. Also the Stack Boxx Stackable organizer and storage containers on Amazon would be good for storing small toys.

For the breakfast/craft table for your family room, I would highly recommend the Carolina Large Play Table from Pottery Barn. Even my child's adult family members LOVE sitting at this table to snack/eat, do puzzles, paint, hot glue gun crafts, etc., and in the kid's chairs no less! A great load-bearing table that comes in a variation of colors, including white. I have had this one for 4 years now in brown/"chocolate" and this table has stood up to all kinds of harsh treatment from my 5 year old daughter and her besties. They have even jumped off this table (which I put a stop to) without me even batting an eyelash that it was going to fall apart. So sturdy, and a long lasting investment piece that I see my child using well into her teenage years and beyond.

You might want to think about rolling makeup cases as toy storage for the boys. They almost look like tool boxes, with pull out storage drawers and deep space in the bottom. It might be fun to make it a craft project and let them decorate them how they want!

i would be interested in your gluten free grocery lists. products you use and love for baking, cooking in the instant pot, stove, oven and so forth as a gluten free family. Share your top products/must haves. also maybe have a new series once a month or more that is a gluten free recipe and cooking show. i am not gluten free but my niece is and we like to include foods that she can eat when the family gets together. however, i thought it would be nice to share that with her as she has trouble finding good products that yield good recipes for the family (that is not gluten free) to enjoy. i so enjoyed all your family shenanigans this year. i look forward to many more adventures in the lives of the 'Beaston Eight'. xoxo
