Hi Rach, Have you ever tried “Shout Color Catcher” Dye-Trapping Sheets? It allows you to wash whites and reds together without the dye transferring to the whites. It makes doing laundry so much faster. Directions say to use 2 sheets for large loads, however I use 4 just to be sure, lol! It may be over-kill, but I’d rather be safe than sorry. You are truly an inspiration and I love watching your channel.

You are right Rachel, front loading washing machines are more maintenance. We only have those in the uk and I’ve always liked the look of top loaders. I don’t have the pet hair issues, even tho I have 2 rag doll cats! However, my routine with my front loader is that I have an old face flannel that’s used to wipe the inner rubber seals on the opening. When I have finished I stuff the cloth at the bottom of the seal to catch excess liquid. I also pull the soap drawer out completely to dry, and I wipe the inside where the drawer was. These tips stop the drawer compartment from going black and mouldy. Lastly I never shut the machine door when not in use. I keep hearing that white vinegar will eventually rot the rubber!!! Doing what I do, I don’t need to use any products. I do realise you have an awful lot of laundry to do, but just do this at the end of the day. Also, those throws are pink 🤣🤣🤣 I couldn’t believe it when I saw you throw them in all together 😱 Another great one and thanks Rachel.

For my hvac grate/Cover I spray with power wash, let sit and then soak in my tub with hot water and the dirt almost just falls off with hardly any scrubbing but I do use a paddle scrubbing brush from target.

I use a product called Zud for rust on my sinks and other hard surfaces, just do a test spot first. I also make a paste and apply it to rust stains on clothing, scrub gently with a soft brush and wash as usual. Air dry if any rust remains and treat again, most stains come out the first time. It usually can be found next to Barkeepers Friend in the cleaning isle. I also use color catcher cloths if I think something might fade when I wash an item. I use the Carbona brand, they look like dryer sheets. I only use 1/2 sheet and it works as well as a whole sheet. I’ve had my box almost a year but I believe they still have them at Walmart in the detergent isle

Yea girl I saw that red blanket go in with the whites and I was like Nooo!! Also I've seen other with tile use Resolve foaming carpet cleaner on the grout that works wonders. Also a powershot steamer.

We try to always put our blankets through the dryer before washing. That gets a lot of the dog hair off before washing. Less dog hair going down the drain. We have 2 dogs 1 is a lab who just loves to shed. LOL Happy Thanksgiving! Love your videos and tips!

@@RachPlusFive omg Rach just spray and go. I actually use the Dollar Tree brand. Works even better than scrubbing bubbles. If you sprayed that on your floors in the living room and kitchen every time you mop your tiles would get whiter, not your grout but your tiles. I clean my entire house with that foam but not mirrors. I even spray it on my drinking glasses just before I wash them and my eyeglasses. I don't know about stainless steel. I don't own any lol

I have a front loader. I use vinegar every load, keep my door open and wipe it down with vinegar every load. It still feels yuck! I don't know if it's because me & my daughter have such long hair or the dogs but I hate it. My dogs are non shedding too. Frustrating for sure!
