I usually just “cheat” by wearing a short skirt and thigh-high boots if I want to feel modern. Hallo M. , ich habe die gleiche Leder / Silber Combo als 28 Kelly retourne und trage sie viel und gerne, da sie einen Gurt hat. Ich habe zwei Birkins ( große ) seit über 15 Jahren, diese trage ich zwar , oft auf Reisen , aber sie sind im Vergleich zu schwer und ihnen fehlt einfach der Gurt um sie mal aus der Hand zu haben .im Supermarkt oder im Museum zB: nervet die Birkin einfach. Ein tip als alter Hermes Hase: Bolide oder Evelyn - and die könnte ich mir auch eine Herbag in Bordeaux vorstellen , Lg

I would love to find a pair of olive/khaki green slip-on leather or suede sneakers (slip-on because it helps my bad back). I have boots in this color, and summer sandals, but haven’t found sneakers in it yet. I have a lot of khaki green in my wardrobe, so they would be very useful. I love wearing boots when I can, but sneakers are a must for days with lots of walking.

I think you are naturally a modest person, and are aware that some people wear a Birkin as a marker of prestige… you however bought yours because of its history, the quality, the mythology around it and its beauty, and you are aware that some people may make assumptions about you that aren’t correct, and you don’t relish being judged as a big show off when you’re not…?

People are made to be loved, objects are made to be used, but it seems our societies are doing the reverse nowadays unfortunately.
