Your stories brought back memories of my late grandmothers and mother-in-love. I miss them so. Thanksgiving was a luxury with all the homemade fixings that we feasted on all day. Robin, you went with the pumpkin tablecloth after having to deal with the wrinkled ruffles. You were not able to get past the wrinkles even after starching. It was easier to handle the pumpkin tablecloth!😊

Hi Robin! I've seen your tablescape video twice now...once while traveling for work & once here at home. I honestly can't decide which table cloth I like the best. The Beige that you have on your table is lovely, but I agree with you.....THOSE RUFFLES! 😳I wouldn't want to have to iron those either!. I think the table cloth you used last year is perfect. It brings in SO many Autumn colors to your tablescape. As far as the NEW table! I'm SO excited for you. We recently replaced our ten year old breakfast table with a white wooden table. It's bar height is exactly what the young adults in our family love, but the older family members have said they prefer a lower table. My hubby & I love it though. Thanks Robin for sharing your lovely Thanksgiving tablescape. Of course, you chose the taupe linen tablecloth. It does look SO pretty! I have a linen tablecloth from my MIL she used at Thanksgiving and boy I find myself fussing with ironing as well. Until I decided this thing is going to the dry cleaners to be starched and pressed. It comes back on a hanger, pressed, starched, covered in plastic and I hang in the closet for the next year. Our little secret. 😉. Congratulations on hitting another milestone! I do 2 turkey breasts boneless in a crockpot with all the sides. For me, it’s so nice and easy. 🍂 Sometimes ordering from Costco-Thanksgiving dinner-Turkey, mashed potatoes, corn, gravy, stuffing and 2 pies. They deliver it in dry ice- it’s all amazing! 🍂

Your table turned out lovely, Robin. The cream tablecloth is beautiful, and the ruffle adds just the right touch. It goes perfectly with the napkins and the pattern on your dishes. I cheat too with the turkey :) but for some reason last year it took much longer to cook than it should have. Not sure what happened there.
