New Fan Remastered Superman IV 4K Opening Credits

So here is my new 4K version remastered Superman IV Extended Cut Opening Credits. I originally done these in 1080p, but apart of me wasn't happy with the final result. So redoing these again in 4K, I was able to add and make some slight changes to the credits.
I decided to respect the concept of the original theatrical one, this time having the credits fly behind the Earth, however keeping them flying straight instead of all directions. The opening part before the emblem and main title card plays out similar to the first movie.
Not only did I add Clive Mantle (Nuclear Man 1) in the title credits, but also included Damian McLawhorn who played Jeremy, who wasn't included in the original opening credit lineup.
I took the new Warner Bros intro and added some theme elements with the flying Superman cape and streak across the sky.
Dedicated this UNOFFICIAL opening credits to my father Lew, who was my biggest fan and always had high hopes one day I'll get to remaster an official release of the film for Warner Bros. Still hoping one day that day will come. Have to be positive.

A friend recorded the director's cut on a blank d.v.d for me. Much better version. Needs a 4-K Super High Definition Blu-ray release. Thanks for making this video. You did a great job with the Main credits crawl. This should have been released in theatres.

Wondeful tribute to your dad mate! Some possible things to look at would be the score when the WB credit wooshes past, it drowns out the first few notes of the march. Also the added credits for Mantle and McLawhorn, it's a shame that McClure and Pillow now have to share their moment. If you were to remove the Superman as appearing in DC comics, and combine the music credit for Williams and Courage, this would give you room to have all the cast recieve an individual mention.

I think this is how they should have approached Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut. Using modern technology and making it look like it was from an earlier era. It looks nostalgic/retro but improved in a way.

If I think about it, this story was the precedent for "Superman: Peace on Earth", illustrated by Alex Ross. It has the same premise, although the execution in the graphic novel was brilliant. Hopefully we will see Superman IV as it should be seen, as a pacifist film with the Superman we need so much.

This movie and STAR TREK 5 have been the two films I most want to see "fixed" with proper special effects and restored scenes. I commend you for your efforts and hope to see a finished version of this someday. Perhaps an AI assist can restore all the raw footaage of the Nuclear Man 1 scenes? The problem is the deleted scenes are incomplete. :(

Yo this is freaking beautiful and I originally saw Superman for back in I want to say 1987 The opening credits already let me know I was in store for some bullshit and believe me by the end of the movie My hunches were right Oh it was I thought at the time I thought Supergirl was better than Superman 4. This impressed the hell out of me Now I beg of you do DC comics a favor do the world of favor and do this for Christopher Reeve and go ahead and remaster the whole rest of the damn movie please please do it! Cannon had $37m from Warner Bros for Superman IV, which sounds tiny now but was enough in the 80s to do Superman, but Golan and Globus siphoned 20m of it to fund the 300 other movies they were making in the same year, leaving only 17m. And as the final result shows, you can't do Superman on 17m.
