Espathra is n ostrich, so it's kind of a safari animal themed deck (giraffe, ostrich, we are going to pretend xatu is a Senegal parrot.)

I've been using this deck and now reaching Mewtwo league, paired with 3x glasses I managed to get 4-5 wins against zard pidgeot deck

Espathra is so annoying especially if you play lost box, lost tina, ancient box, or future box. Great content as always LDF.

This deck also works pretty well against Future decks and Raging Bolt, Gouging Fire or Walking Wake based Ancient decks...the solo prizers in those decks also usually OHKO from Dirty Beam...so its nice to see more and more rogue decks vs some of the big hitters (though I'm personally seeing a lot less Chien Pao on the ladder) might use this list, but with 2 Devo to counter Zard? IDK, Zard is exhaustingly rough to face...

Espathra is an ostrich and I think the idea of Cleoptra mixed into one. Esp is obvious, I think path comes from empath, and pat + tra is from Cleopatra. You can tell from its hair it's loosely based on an ancient Egyptian hairstyle that Cleopatra likely had. I really love Espathra as you can tell lol. I'm really happy it got a good ex card.

Ohh I like this. I played against one Farigiraf deck once that also had Flutter Mane and it totally cooked me. But yeah I like the Espathra combo might wanna try it. It does feel a bit bad to only have 2 of the respective exs in case one is prized

I have 2 Eri in my deck. Make sure you use them when they have a full hand. I used them when they had like 2/3 cards and it was worthless.

I was also surprised by this. I assume it’s either a bug or that does only protect Farigiraf from « direct » attacks, where the damages are fixed.

Having your turn end after getting the items you need leaves you very vulnerable to Iono and discards. You want to play the items when you get them ideally.

I feel this deck could really use League Headquarters to be extra annoying. Not only you're inmune to the exs the basics need an extra energy to attack.
