I thought about saying this as I played a lot of heroic gruntpocolypse but if i wasn’t playing with good ppl, it was a waste of time with me trying to keep everyone alive and carrying the hill. For a casual, I’d say normal is just fine.

The Survive The Undead gamemode was an awesome XP farm, I was completing the game with 11,000 xp every other match

Hey! loved the video! I think it's a little unfortunate that the playlist Survive the Undead was removed this week, as it granted the most score by far, and it's how I was able to get hero in 9 days of grinding (52 hours and 158 games), my highest score being 26k score in one game, if it comes back, you should try it!

Gruntpocolypse Fiesta, on Courtyard pick up the explosive skewer shotgun, stand in every hill and kill every drop ship. Don’t worry about grunts. You’ll get 8,000+ points. I made it to Hero on September 14th last month, but still playing on occasion. And that is by far the best way to get XP

Making all the math about the XP really helps you to focus and to keep trying, I recommend you to set yourself a daily rate of XP to get. I started playing in February 2024, I have never been a PvP player, so I usually wander around Firefight matches and occasionally custom modes with friends, right now I'm Sergeant Grade III Onyx and have played 1400+ matches so far; by playing Firefight on heroic difficulty I'm getting like 4,500 XP per match and I usually play 8 matches daily so that's around 36,000 XP per day, based on the Halo infinite career rank XP requirements I have gathered over 5.4 million XP but still have to gather another 3.8 million to get Hero, based on the calculations I have made, if I keep this pace I'll be hitting max rank by early March 2025 💀 Sadly the XP earnings from heroic Firefight matches have been lowered in past months, before past July it was possible to easily get 6000+ XP per match playing as casual player, now that's only possible on gruntapocalipsis fiesta mode, but you have to sweat your ass up to get the most kills, the most points by defending base and the most assistances, and when your team is not full of other tryhards trying to do the same, the matchmaking gives you rookie players who started playing the past week

Firefight is what got me to hero but when I was grinding headhunter for haunted I was getting like 5.5k in two minutes with the skullamanjaro thingy so rumble pit is great 👍

I think legendary Gruntpocalpse is probably the best with competent teammates. With good people, I can get 6000+xp very consistently. The problem is that matchmaking pairs you with people with no business playing on legendary. It would be great to party up with competent people in a fireteam to grind.

Depends whether you're playing solo or with friends you can rely on, imo. If you're with people you trust not to take idiot deaths and be able to handle having most or all of the skulls on at the end, play the higher levels for the multiplier. If you're browsing solo and dependent on the survivability of randoms to get the skull bonuses, play normal.

The Playlist needs 8v8 Ranked (also 12v12).. currently only 4v4 Ranked Arena/Slayer (maybe 2v2 for some) That's only thing worth grinding in Matchmaking. -social modes are a complete joke, AFK quitting. Zero incentive to win. Noob Playlist. Microsoft

there just isnt an easy way to get xp anymore, it always averages 6000 roughly or if you get a good btb match its easily 8k xp but then again thats still thousands of matches to go, currently onyx private and still need 4.5million xp
