I’ve got a E36 328 Boosted m52b28 also i run 93 low comp pistons and like 10-12 psi and it makes 370 to the wheels. Small turbo the car makes boost super early in the rev range. Motor just she arp head studs and a new victor reins head gasket.

I remember once I put a 4 point roll bar (w/cross brace and harness bar) in my E36 how much less roll and flex the body had. The TC Kline cage I had fit like a glove, not sure if they still make them anymore but I'm sure Autopower does. Also Turner Motorsports (who races BMWs ) up in Amesbury MA does full roll cages with dimple dyed gussets to the A pillar, their work is sick. This makes me want another Bim, I love the 50/50 weight distribution of the E36. PS an AC Schnitzer rear window spoiler would look sick on that despite being such a subtle mod.

old bmws are so refined. I’ve driven ctsv, toyotas, infinities, vettes, and mustangs and the old bmw era e30-e36-e46 all have such good steering characteristics and good reliable drive trains. Nissans might be the only better cars for drifting but come at a price. BMWs you can pick up under 5k in the south all day
