Oh, yes, and I forgot to mention; SuA's Halloween costumes are always top-notch. The one where she had the white paint all over, she was dressed as a particular statue (but I don't remember whose statue); she scared EVERYBODY with that one just because it was so weird. Even JiU was a little scared of her. SuA purposely chased Yoohyeon because Yoohyeon was scared of her more than usual. On staege, SuA scared some of the dancers that were part of her performance. She stood really still as stueas should, but then she had jerky movements and basically yelled 'BOO!' at them and they RAN off stage. That's nothing compared to a different year though... Another Halloween, SuA dressed up as Hellboy and covered a song, Maria (originally by Mamamoo member Hwasa as one of her solos). SuA danced as part of the performance and she did weird stuff with her voice, because Hellboy. For me, the worst one: SuA once dressed as the Demon Clown from 'IT' and scared everybody, but especially Gahyeon. Gahyeon was talking on stage and had not seen SuA's costume yet. SuA walked up behind Gahyeon and the crowd went crazy, pointing or something. SuA just stood there but Gahyeon's attention got directed behind her, she turned around and FREAKED OUT. Poor baby. That one makes me wonder how long it took before Gahyeon would even speak to SuA. Gahyeon has said herself that she has a problem with holding her temper, she is really easily angered. When SuA scared her half to death with that costume, she could not be mad because her soul had left her body. Adrenaline dump/ shutdown kind of thing. But I bet she was mad for a long time.

I remember seeing the Hellboy costume and being very confused 😅 But if I saw her in a clown costume, I'd be done so fast. No thank you 😖

@@AntiSocialPlanet There are a coupe of really short videos if you want to find them, but SuA was SCARY with that costume. I normally am okay with clowns, etc, but I would not want to see THAT clown. If you don't look that up ever, I totally understand.

SuA is kind of the cheer squad for the group. She always wants to cheer people up! The thing that is harder to see is that SuA is the most respectful to the members limits. Her roommate is Yoohyeon, who is really shy and sensitive, and while they do play fight a lot SuA doesn't exceed her limits. Rather than their differences causing conflict they have instead activated SuA's mothering instincts. 🥰 My favorite SuA clips are the ones where she becomes violent because someone spoke informally to her. 😂 She gives zero grace and will lecture you like a grandma!

@@AntiSocialPlanet I think they were talking about when the contracts are finally up and DreamCatcher comes to an end. SuA's response was something like 'Why should this ever end? I won't know what to do if this ends. Let's just stay together forever!' It really was very sweet. The ladies really do make a complete unit, it really will be very difficult to hear when the contracts eventually don't get re-done. I logically know that it must happen but it will really hurt me when it does, by surprise or not. Just having Han Dong MIA for almost a year made so many people very sad. So when the seven were re-united, there were many parties thrown all over the world. So, when they finally bow out or however that will go, it is going to hurt. We all know it has to happen at some point (what goes up must come down) but nobody wants to talk about it.

Being somewhat of an introvert myself I wish I had someone like SuA, or preferably SuA😅, in my life. She seems like the type of person that can make other shy people open up more and have a good time. I think she said she feels like it is her responsibility to raise the energy level of the whole group and you really can see how much she loves them as well as all Insomnia 😊

Pet peeve of mine. Dolphin sounds are a totally different cadence and don't change frequency the way SuA does. Her laugh is much closer to bird songs which also fits her animal.

Oh then I recommend Kim Bora's madcap adventures like being a zoo keeper, martial arts training and training for a musical. Absolute hysterical. Watching all her vids, you will notice 1 thing, she becomes a total softie with Handong. Can you imagine her with Mamamoo's Solar together. Both of them have the loud, crazy, energetic laughter.😂

My favorite SuA moments are when they do karaoke for example and it ends up being the one-man SuA show. So much energy.

Aw, you _had_ to drop this while I was on my way to work, didn't you? 😜 I can't do my usual essay, but let's try anyway... The 20 and 22 versions both start with Fatal for all of them... 🥵 Gahyeon gives her a run for her money, but SuA is the loudest member, no question. Sometimes she even surprises _herself_ (as at that sports event, ISAC)... 🤣 If the members didn't want her to bite them, they shouldn't be so tasty... 😏 SuA didn't realise how funny everyone found her laugh until she watched an Insomnicsy video about their laughing (which they reacted to... There's a video about that, too...)... 😜 SuA's violence is just her way of saying "I love you"... I swear SuA's getting cuter as she gets older, and she's leaning right into it... 🤣 The AAAAAAAAA is actually a vlog, SuA's Day in Poland, and it's basically iconic Bora... 🤣 SuA's boisterousness seems like it should be annoying, especially to someone pretty quiet like myself, but it comes from such a place of genuine _niceness_ that it just gives you life... which is her goal. 🥰 I call her a Friendship Bulldozer; if she wants you to be her friend, _it will happen._ It amuses me that after all these years of living with her, the members _still_ aren't really used to her volume... 🤣 That clip of SuA rocking Dami sends me every time..! 🥰🤣 Yes, that is absolutely what her vlogs and livestreams are like... 😂 She doesn't have any Glasses sections; she does wear them (and need them), but not _that_ often... I usually describe her laugh as like a car failing to start... 😜 Yeah, watching other people's reactions to SuA, like TV hosts, is gold. It's a combination of second-hand embarrassment and sheer hilarity that never gets old... 😂 It's not that none of them _do_ cook, just that none of them _can..._ 😜 Yes, they're good sounds. SuDong lives have a particularly endearing energy to them; they're complete opposites, but so lovely together... 🥰

i personally call her laugh a "shotgun laugh", she is one of the best examples alonh with for example chaeryeong from itzy and chaeyeon

SuA can sing in the lowest range of members (tho Yoohyeon and Handong are close and amazing in lower registers too) and also achieve the highest pitch (non-singing) sounds of anyone. Good Night and BEcause have her low whisper raps and in her solo you'll briefly hear a F#5. edit: I typed F5 then changed it to G5 before saving, and it kept bugging me so I played the song and turns out it was between those two. I can sleep again.

I thought Dami has the lower voice? Obviously SuA wins the highs because she ACCIDENTALLY hits Dolphin-level notes when she laughs. Anyway, both are incredible in their vocal ranges. :)

@@jamescurfman3284 Dami doesn't sing low she's in Gahyeon's range, which is what I was talking about. While Dami raps pretty low around her speaking voice SuA went lower than that in several songs (Siyeon also gets a deep raspy voice in cozy lives but that's not where she sings or raps either). Think of the Copycat cover and who could keep good vocal technique that low? From what we've heard Yoohyeon has the best chance, maybe Handong, but they've never released anything that stayed in that range more than a bar or two (tho I REALLY want to hear it). We only have what they release to guess but not how their exploratory practices go. Siyeon goes F5 with vibrato in Boca and G5 in Vision so she's still the high note singer. But it's pretty amazing SuA can sing Copycat (better than other members, I assume) and also hit a note in No Dot that is only one step below Siyeon's belt in Vision.

@@TheGroovyJones I think maybe start with her solo stuff... What was that one thing she did that was like a fairy tale, or something? The lyrics have her going off to fight a giant monster that nobody else wanted to fight... That had fairly low vocals but not as low as SuA's rap in Good Night. I really can't remember her other low singing. I have a really crappy memory, I need to look for it which will take time but I will be back.

From memory Sua's 'papercut' is a reference to a photo of her face's side profile and her sharp nose. It's so sharp she can cut her finger on it, and hence the other members reaction. Anyway have a great Xmas and New Year Sarah see you in 2023!

We all know that SuA can sing. She's obviously in a group that would require her to be able to sing, it's a given. The funny thing is that she was originally a Lead Rapper for the group, you get a real taste of her rap in Good Night. She was a rapper in Minx as well. BUT she can ACCIDENTALLY hit high notes while laughing that Main Vocalist Siyeon can't reach. SuA calls dolphins with that pitch she has. Obviously Siyeon can easily hit low notes that SuA would struggle with. And then we have Dami. You know how low Dami can get with some of her rapping, right? Guess what? She can also hit higher notes than Siyeon, coming in second place for an impromptu competition the group had on a show. Siyeon basically bowed out immediately because she already knew how this would go; it was between SuA and Dami. Some people believe that Dami LET SuA win, but I really don't think so. Anyway, Dami pretty much has the biggest vocal range of the entire group. She does not use the highs often so with only audio, most people don't recognize when they are hearing Dami's voice and confuse her with Siyeon of even Gahyeon. Most of the ladies will periodically vlog. SuA's vlogs are always fun but she does not make them often. She was also on Red Velvet Wendy's radio show for some time as a semi-permanent guest and those videos are always fun. As far as her energy, I WISH!!! She took the job away from the Energizer Bunny! When she is awake, it's always 100% GO TIME. When she sleeps, she sleeps like she is dead and never moves, according to any of the ladies who have ever slept in the same room with her. The last one to explain about that was Han Dong, who was really scared because she thought SuA had died in her sleep, she was SO STILL. Absolute toggle switch, either on or off, nothing in between. :D
