I have DiMarco from the promo. If they both maxed out, Dimarco would be a 98 and Nuno would be a 97. Also just statically a better card. The only thing Nuno has over him is 5*4*. Dimarco is 4*4*. So nah I don't care about the objective. I'll spend my weekend playing a different game.

I think the game is at the state where it's incredibly inconsistent. Everyday the gameplay is in a different spot, usually in a spot where its heavy and laggy then the next day its fine, then the next day back to being heavy. At the same time I don't think the gameplay is the worst of the problems. Its the meta. The way people play the game on top of heavy and laggy gameplay is a cocktail of disaster. It creates a game where good players can lose to bad players bc of ping, randomness, animations colliding with scripting in the code, over reliance on press, and again the meta. My point isn't to say there shouldn't be a boycott and people should just do whatever they want...its that we know there is a huge population of gamers who don't consume content of the game they play from YT, and those same ppl don't feel the level of hatred towards the game bc they aren't playing it as often.

Pack weight is going to be harder than ever to fix because the larger pool of cards with women’s leagues now. It increased the pool of players many time more than the small amount of “desirable” Women’s cards. Also keeping in mind a certain portion of the community doesn’t want to play with cards they’ve never heard of.

This is where EA is killing it's own game. At it's core UT is a leveling game (ie Elden Ring/AC) Level up progression. Skill and or time gets you levels. In most games of this type, you don't even need skill as long as you put the time in, you can get the top levels/stats/team/gear/whatever. Micro transactions killed the grind here. Time on this game doesn't equal progression anymore. Even in June which is sad. Gatekeeping all the best cards to sell packs makes leveling up your team almost 100% luck, not skill based or time based at all.

With Vidic mistakenly upgraded to 97, EA will have to compensate anyone who buys him before they correct his rating. 2M coins, unlimitedly repeatable. Same mistake as when they made Yaya have the wrong league. I’m convinced EA is outsourcing to people who don’t know how to read English and don’t watch soccer at all.

Looking at the player reward for the champs nation objective, It might be worth investing in Portuguese players . I think the rewards are trying to indicate what the next nation will be for the following week. Makes sense if we got Enzo for the England nation champs and now have Argentina with a Portuguese player reward.

The intention behind the champs only cards and only good packs in champs is to push people… into champs. Tedious. But it generates fomo and folks go in. One thing this fifa did that didn’t really do cards justice was that they gave out new promos basically every 2 weeks with even better cards from the previous. At least in fifa 23 a promo will last like a month or so. TOTS just finished 2 weeks ago and 90% of the cards aren’t even usable anymore. I looked back at my team from January in fifa 23 and I still had base gold cards in my team. In this fifa in January every card I had was over 90 rated at least.

Did you seriously put Croatia into a lesser nation category? Seriously? A lesson from football history: Croatia gained independence in 1991 and was eligible to compete internationally since Euro 98. In a Word Cup debut in 1998 we won the 3rd place and equaled Uruguay in a category of a best debut ever. Since then we won the 2nd place in 2018 WC, 3rd place in 2022 WC and 2nd place in the Nations League. Since 2012 there was at least one Croatia player playing the Champions League finals, where only in 2012 and 2023 Croats haven't won the UCL finals...Yeap, lesser nation indeed...
