You can now build your own indicators on top of TrendSpider using the most popular and well-known programming language in the world, JavaScript. We built this into the platform with a full interpreter, which means not only do you get all of the features associated with JavaScript, but also a suite of helper functions to make coding easier, like:

Super exciting stuff! I love that the scripting is done in JS. I was able to migrate my pinescript indicators very easily. Can't wait for the ability to test out strategies and server side execution before I migrate over from TV.

Trading view premium subscriber here, and who has created hundreds of proprietary pinescripts. Very nice, but in my case this won't be useful until custom scripts can do server side alerts, support multi timeframes & pass custom data to the bot's webhook (not just a few placeholder variables in the json) to automate trades. If and when you do support these features, I'll be the first to rush to migrate and subscribe to TrendSpider.

Thank you for the feedback. We 100% agree - server side execution, passing custom data, and many more features are coming to this soon. This is just V1. The choice was either wait a few months to release it, or release in current form and then follow up with an update. We choose latter because that gives developers time to learn how it works since it is a new implementation and a new language not used in other platforms. But we do 1000000% agree. Everything you mentioned will be added in time.

I think y’all just put TradingView out of business. You should do a video of converting pine script indicators to Java using chatgpt and show us low code people how we can optimize some of the market favorites to work in the platform

Sorry its taken so long. Backend execution is in final stages of testing. I expect it released this quarter.
