New fence reduces beach size at Great Pond, Wellfleet

A sizable new fence (approximately 150-feet long) has been erected at iconic Great Pond in Wellfleet. The fence reduces current beach space by about 25 percent and often water levels at the pond are higher, meaning beach space will be at a premium. The fence is marked with Cape Cod National Seashore signs indicating it was put in place to protect vegetation.

Uhhh....i thought GREAT POND was actually in EASTHAM 🙄 like, where GREAT POND ROAD is???....unless you're just using that as an adjective perhaps??
