Looks great ! I’m a 420 in the fenty liquid foundation I’m a nw45 in the Mac powder. I was looking at the 420 and 410 Yesterday And the powders looked really dark so i ordered a 400 in the fenty powder . I’m happy i did 🙂

If you don’t know your undertone you could go by the color of your veins. If you have blue veins then you are warm undertone, if you have green veins you are cool undertone, and if you have both blue and green veins your undertone is neutral. Neutral is between cool and warm. Then there is also olive pink/peach and red undertone sometimes it gets confusing.

First off, I enjoyed the comparisons and tests that you did ... I do have one concern. Did you use the same Eco Tools makeup brush for both foundations? If so, then that would explain why your results were identical on your face but completely different on your chest. I do feel that you are my shade twin so I definitely want to binge watch the rest of your videos

Glad you enjoyed! Yes, I used the same brush so that it would give the same application. No worries I did clean the brush off in between sides - so there shouldn’t have been any transfer. Yes ma'am Miss Brandy I've been watching I ordered 400 after watching this video but then I found another girl's video who is actually browner than us and she reviewed 390 so ... of course 390 looked horrible on her but now I'm wondering if I should have ordered 390 🤷🏾‍♀️ 400 just looked so perfect on you and I actually prefer that golden orange tone to my foundation. We shall see. I do have one more question, how well does it holds up? Do you get a true 8 - 10 hour wear out of the powder foundation?

Michelle H I have dry skin so I can get up to 8hr now (it’s still somewhat cool in Charlotte nc) but not sure how it will hold up in the summer. If you have oily skin I would say you could get 4-6 hours and maybe a reply half way for sure ... 10hr def not (without touch ups) HTH. So glad we could chat!! 🥰

I tried a sample when the liquid fenty first came out and it was the wrong shade and I never tried it again -- so I'm not quite sure. I presume I would be 430 or darker in the liquid. Let me know which color you land on for the powder. Goodluck and thanks for commenting!

I feel like MAC has a fuller coverage - but fenty lives up its name of making the face look like its filtered. I’ll keep trying it out and see if another tool (or than brush) will make the application more build able. Shew that was a long answer lol HTH 🥰

I do not think they oxidize, but your skin type + skin prep does play a major role. Also, i do not think the powders match up to the foundation shades perfectly but that’s not uncommon. If you are oily oxidation its kinda inevitable. Personally I always go a tad lighter in powders to compensate. Also, if you want a fuller coverage I’d try Makeup Forevers powder.

I feel like MAC has more full coverage but that could be the tool I used to apply... Fenty def looks more flawless/filtered. For the little research I’ve done powders May not oxidize however do react differently based on the oil or skin type (I.e oily). What I read is oxidation happens overtime to foundation products but not instantly like most of us think🤷🏾‍♀️ but girl im not a makeup artist so I dunno about that part haha HTH thanks for commenting!

No it’s doesn’t change once applying. I’ll need to do more research but not sure if powder oxidizes 🤷🏾‍♀️ - I did see another reviewer say that she had oily skin so it changed for her but it was oil related and not oxygen. HTH thanks for commenting! Happy new year!
