As much as it would be great to see a locally built ship on the Devonport Melbourneservice, a fast crossing service has failed before. Bass straight aint friendly on twin hull ships. So unless Incat could make a vessel substantially bigger, more economical and more stable than the original Devil-Cat, then that idea would fall flat on its face... again wouldn't it!?

And the Devil cat doesn't have a stabiliser so it gets pretty rough
