Have used the Kentmere 100/400 35mm in the past -- as an economy move, but the results had a nice "mid-century" B&W home-photo feel. Not as full of midtones as early B&W film, but not as "crispy" as the TriX I grew up with. Nice for portraits (even of seagulls!). Can't wait to use the 120 size!

@ShootFilmLikeaBoss2 жыл бұрын
I think thats just a rumour Peter. I can't think how they would manufacture off cuts accurately and faff about with machine costs that has to push the off cuts to one side, re spool etc. It's a budget film with less silver content I believe.

No way will I pay £12+ for a roll of Kodak Tri-X, not a chance the amount of film I get through! 😛 For 120 I’ve switched to Fomapan 100/200 in Rodinal 1:50 which I love but now we have Kentmere 120 I’ll have another film to switch it up with and feed my Super Ikonta.
