You should support the Ignite system. I've used several firing systems and for a smaller show the main Cobra system is overkill. Ignite is an amazing system and has it's place depending on venue. It's just Cobra Lite. For most of what you are doing with the main Cobra system Ignite does it just as well. Furthermore, Ignite is made by Cobra.

Looks like my previous comments on this were removed. An 18que Ignite box is $180 vrs $360 for Cobra but, the big difference is you don't need the $350 Cobra controller. You use the Ignite ap on your phone. You get to use the same Cobra show programmer to setup the show (without paying $70 a year) but it is missing a few functions that only matter if you are shooting off 3 barges on a river 1000ft apart or really into creating pyro musicals. The biggest bonus(other than price) of the Ignite system is that you can upload the shows to the modules via bluetooth instead of using a USB drive to upload to each Cobra module. The drawback is you have to be within 300ft to start the show and if you want to emergency cancel the show you have to be within that 300ft. The Cobra can do the same from 1000ft since it is not using bluetooth but using a radio frequency. This only matters if you are shooting in a dangerous venue, range wise, and how many times do you see a show pull the plug? So it really doesn't matter. The second drawback to Ignite is that it has a minimum per-que-shot time of 1sec (unless you are using pro level igniters [which are also available on Ignites website]) but this only really matters if you want more than 4 fireworks to shoot at the same time off more than 1 que. If you purchase the igniters from Ignite(which are the same as Cobra igniters but cheaper, this doesn't matter). Seriously, they sell the same igniters on Cobra and Ignites websites but the Ignites are cheaper... Also, you can create fusing patterns with fast visco fuse to ignore this drawback. So it isn't really that much of an issue. Honestly Ignite is the best system unless you are getting paid $300k to put on a show for the Kentucky derby or needing to shoot more than 108ques without using secondary visco fusing. The only people fighting it are pyro purists that want to feel they are better than other pyros. It's literally the same system electronically with a slightly shorter signal range. For my shows all the 200g-500g cakes are on single ques and my large shells are out of self made cakes using only 1 que to start the cake and visco at different speeds to create timing. So I don't need 25 ques to shoot 25 shells. It's 1 que in the show but the visco does the timing. My shows are better than most pro shows if they used the same products. [Fact].

Although Ignite is marketed to the backyard fireworks show, it is an electronic ignition system that is capable of running pyro musicals with ematch and quick plugs. I personally use Cobra, but Ignite is very cost effective and easy to use.

I've been the neighborhood DIY pyro as well as more recently the go to for birthday parties and ball games ect. . I was a kid when i began learning how to make professional displayu products and have worked with several over seas day time fireworks manufacturing and display organisations. On that note Ive never been held accountable by licensure or certificate, just proven safety record and oooohs and ahhs. Now that I live in the states I am not allowed to touch pyrotechnics. Love this content and maybe someday I can light a sparkler lol. Serving In the military took me away from home but coming home hasn't been so welcoming.

Please get the ignite system verified as well!! Not every Pyro is rich enough to afford a cobra!!!, ignite is a firing system just like cobra, it fires pyromusicals, shows, etc they might be geared more towds backyard systems, but it still is valid! I’d get in touch with cobra, they are the makers of ignite!

The fact he doesn't back the ignite means he's losing money 😂 was looking into his ap certification, but he didn't accept ignite or other systems, just the big 3 🤷‍♂️ so rather then being forced to buy one of them just for his course i just went and got certified by PGI (which is a better course anyway and accepted by all vendors) and I can use whatever firing systems I feel like using, problem solved 👍👌

This is just another way to scam new people who don't know better. The fact that they don't accept Slim Line, Twiddle, and other "lesser known" professional firing systems seems like a way to sucker people over to more expensive alternatives. I bet you have to pay for the "certificate" too, to where they probably wouldn't even accept an ATF license lol. Not that you need this pro stuff with an actual license, but it's nice to buy fireworks time to time without having the ATF aware of it.
