Flat Top 200R Paramotor!!! The new 200R is a pretty big upgrade from the old Vittorazi 185. A good chunk more power with less torque steer and better reliability. Much faster engine response and it just sounds bad to the bone despite being about the same noise level as the older 185. Plus much better service and support.
The new 200R is a serious upgrade over the older 185 model otherwise, why would we fly it? I mean come on... I don't want anything but the absolute best of the best. And the new 200R makes flying more exciting and fun! I mean it has MORE POWER!!

Went to your class this summer. All the days of kiting was intense almost like a boot camp. I understand now why you do it that way. Glider control is so important and after your class you are incredibly good in all conditions. Inland schools are a joke because you never learn glider control beyond pulling it up in perfect conditions for a launch.

I have to admit that the sound of the 200R is SO MUCH BETTER than the Ninja. It sounds so mean and powerful when you hammer down. I love it!

I was alway told never start the motor on the floor. Is there a safety feature on the new motor that prevents prop spinning while on the ground.

That has nothing to do with the actual sport fine sir. That's sheer foolishness from those who would suggest gear so horrifically unsafe you can't start it should then be placed on your back. Seriously if something is so horrifically unsafe you don't dare start it on the ground who in their right mind would then put it on their back and try to run with it? Only those who are not in their right mind. So it's best to just shut off those so horrifically incompetent and only take advice from those who are actual pilots and actual experts. The Flat Top is the ONLY unit competent pilots fly. If one flies ANY other unit you know straight away you definitely don't want advice from them as they are completely and totally clueless. Yes of course you can start it on the ground. It's a Flat Top not a total pile of crap death trap fine sir.

The Flat Top is made in the US by U-Turn USA. This is only a lightweight version of this 200 motor that we have been using for over 8 years. So it's reliability is well tested and it's reliability side by side with the Vittorazi 185 is well know. In the past it was notably heavier than the Vittorazi though and weight is a big factor which is why the Vittorazi was used. Now with this lightweight version being exactly the same weight as the Vittorazi there is simply no reason to use the Vittorazi any more so the new lightweight Flat Top 200R has made the Vittorazi 185 obsolete in comparison.
