Iceland just opened Blue Lagoon Resort. They said there's no more poisonous gasses, and this erupting volcano is harmless. People are swarming to the Resort, I hope nobody gets sick.

They opened with conditions. They didn't say there are no more poisonous gasses. They didn't say the volcano is harmless. They said they would be monitoring gas levels and the eruption is currently relatively stable.

Tolles Drohnenvideo . Der Krater hat eine perfekte Form, wie ein " Kochender Suppentopf " . Hätte gerne mal das Verhltnis der Lava zu den Lavadeichen gesehen.

How can they open the Blue Lagoon with an eruption going on so close ?
@MikeGreenwood517 ай бұрын
They use a themometer in the water and an alarm incase the water starts to get a little too hot. I guess they have cold showers always on tap and water hoses just in case a glowing volcanic bomb lands. In a large pool of water the size of the Lagoon the chances of being hit by a molten flaming lava eruptive glowing bomb is less than 1% if a person is alone in the pool. Of course the percentages increase if the pool fills with bathers or if the rate of bombs increase. Plus all tourists are allowed to bring their own thermometers and alluminium heat sheild wrap.

@@MikeGreenwood51 Have there been any lava bombs anywhere near the Blue Lagoon?

Next time could you try to get an image of the old Sundhnukar crater system? You got some of in this video. Is the rest of it under lava? At 2:50.

Unfortunately the wind was very strong. It was impossible for me to circle around the crater and to take more wider shots of the area and to stay longer in the air. The battery drained very fast and I barely managed to bring the drone back.

@@TravellerInTheWholeWorldthank you for what you were able to show us! It's very impressive, and I had just been wondering what was going on there these days!

What happened to the good music you used to play during the eruptions?

Thank you for letting us hear the volcano clearly....

@@redswingline262 That isn't the volcano. It is drone footage which should have a constant buzzing sound in the actual audio.
