I reccomemd using Red Loctite on most handgun optics. Use a toothpick to apply it, and if you ever need to remove the screws just hold the tip of a Soldering Iron to the head of the mounting screws for 30 seconds or so and you can use a regular L- wrench to remove the screw.

I feel both are very solid holosun been proven to be very reliable. Vortex is new, I just got her zeroed in today. Over next few week I’ll be running her through some drills but so far holding zero and like it a lot.

I have holosun and this one. Actually I own multiple holosuns I really like this vortex one it seems a little bit stronger in the metal they used and all the screws it comes with to fit a wide variety of handguns was genius. So I would take this over the 407/507k series, now EPS different story. Conclusion both are solid

If holosun made same footprint as the defender I’d rather have holosun but for how cheap I got my vortex it’ll suffice.
