NEW FOR FALL... Too Faced Appley In Love, Soft Matte Foundation & More

I kept a close eye on the staying power of this look and will likely follow-up with more details in a future video. But in case you were wondering, the eyeshadow wore extremely well all day (12+ hours, hot day, and very little change). The foundation on the other hand- I actually thought I looked fairly dewy at the 4 and 8 hour marks... not broken down, just more dewy than usual- forehead and nose. Then by 12 hours... I appeared less dewy (no touchups), and more like when the whole day began! Did I just have the time to dry out a little and things balanced out? Not sure, but just wanted to share. This one is going to take some more experimentation to get a clear takeaway! :)

I’m extremely interested on how this wears as it would be my one and only purchase for that Month , I’m still after literally 50+ Foundations still looking for my “ holy grail “ Foundation I have luxury, high end , mid end and Drugstore Foundation and nothing yet has left me with that OMG I LOVE MY BASE ! Yet I’m still hunting for the best for me base products they may start out great but just even after 1 hr leave me with literally grease face , breaks apart or I look like the Crypt Keeper I’m so dry maybe I’m asking to much and can’t never achieve what i see in my head idk 🤷‍♀️. Yes I will still have lines and wrinkles I’m 48 with absolutely nothing ever done to my face nothing ever injected into my face ( I’d love to ) I’m not expecting miracles out of base products I just want something that LASTS without breaking apart or looking incredibly dry or incredibly dewy and I’m being honest when I say 50+ Foundations 45+ Concealers and omg the Powders over 60 I’m ready to just give up and stop wearing makeup which would make me very sad as I LOVE MAKEUP. I’m just over spending and spending even when I can’t really afford to do so to end up disappointed.

Aloha Dear Emily. I have this pallette in my cart and your review has inspired me to get it. Mahalo for your videos. I live on the Big Island of Hawaii, and I faithfully watch your videos when I put my make up in the morning. I turn on my mermaid snow globe and light a candle and start my day. It is my Happy ritual. Just a couple of thoughts for possible future videos: 1) One and done eye shadow sticks - which ones are bests, 2) All about powder. I have combo skin, live in the rain forest and am 54. I love glory skin but have to use powder. It has been hard to find the balance between glow and grease face. 3) Most versatile eye shadow pallettes with lots of possibilities from neutral to colorful. I love to experiment with color but sometimes just want a simple neutral look. Mahalo for considering! Sending you, Bub and your babies lots of Aloha. What a fun palette! Those shades look very wearable and I love a fun pop of green in any eyeshadow look. Honeycrisp apples are good but they can be a bit pricey for my "taste". I have been really loving the Cosmic Crisp apple. It's got a perfect balance of sweet & tart. It's become a new favorite! 🍎

I lost 3 friends in 2 weeks to cancer. I'm thankful to have a place to come, not to escape, but to bring joy. I LOVE makeup, always have since my mama was a Mary Kay lady in the 80s. I'd sit and watch her get ready every day. It calms me. It's like art. I don't have much makeup to play with these days and don't even feel pretty enough to put it on right now. Just been crying, wheeping for weeks. My best friend, my preschool teacher and my spiritual advisor...all gone in 13 days time. And I just hit my year mark of being divorced. That in itself nearly killed me. I just started to feel like myself again, and all of this happened. Grief is hard. Sometimes ugly. We need to find joy in the little things and that's why I watch Em. She's gentle and kind and talented and not pushing to sell me things. And letting us know you're going thru some things too and still to have a smile on your face... I pray I keep mine on as well. A smile, a kind word...when your world has stopped, it can change things and get you going again. All that to say thank you for being you. I wish we could be like teenagers and hang out and play in makeup for hours. My soul needs that 🥲

That concealer is the only concealer I used as a foundation and I was pleasantly surprised. This was several years ago and it was very popular on YT. I guess I moved on to other concealer, probably drugstore, but seeing here makes me want to order a new one. Beautiful looks today.
