Would have been better to not build that an give us a Fiesta RS instead. 250-300 BHP AWD. out of the 2.0 ecoboost. And yes it's those damn bureaucrats of the EUSSR who don't let us have nice things.

Fiesta RS would cannibalise the sales of the Focus ST. Ford themselves said this when asked if they'd ever release a Fiesta RS... There'd be no point. What I am more upset about is there being no next generation Focus RS, killed by emissions laws and tighter restrictions. The Puma ST is something nobody asked for, and I don't see any reason someone wouldn't pick the current Fiesta ST over the Puma ST as they are essentially the exact same car.

@@IshmaelSimpson I disagree with your first statement. A Fiesta is a smaller car than a Focus, so for those who want a sporty car but need more space, they will settle for a Focus ST, not a Fiesta RS. The MK7 Fiesta ST was actually pretty close to the MK3 Focus ST. And yes, the Puma ST is basically a car to compete in the bloated suv scene. and it' heavier weight will make it slower than the Fiesta ST.

@@neovenom9833 It isn't *my* statement, it's Ford's. I would love an AWD Fiesta RS as I'm an owner of a Mk7 Fiesta ST... But Ford said, at an event I think (I'll have to do some searching) that the power a Fiesta RS would have would cannibalise sales of their very own Focus ST. I don't disagree with your reasoning.
