Was thinking about switching to the HHX series from Sabian. I’m currently using 2002 Paiste cymbals, but maybe a mix of a couple of A’s and K’s could do the same trick as the HHX 🤷‍♂️😇

Oh man, I was pretty sold on that K Custom Hybrid China based on prior videos... but this Ultra Hammered sounds great too.

I definitely agree. The ultra hammered is a little brighter, which can help push it past guitars turned up to 11 on a big stage. The K Custom Hybrid though is still amazing, mostly because in my opinion it kinda “mixes” itself, being dark enough to let it sit back in the cymbal mix but musical enough to not sound like you’re hitting a trash can

From a long time fan, can you please bring back an SJC version of your OCDP Seafoam Green Glitter kit with a nice vented maple snare?! Please and thank you. Till this day there’s very few sets that stood the test of time. Travis’ Stars & Stripes kit and your green glitter kit both by OCDP (before they sold out to GC). Classics man. How often drums skins are replaced on tour?

Every 4-5 shows for the toms and snare, sometimes I can go 6 but it’s really about when I feel as though the attack is gone and the head is starting to wear down. With coated tom heads I’d probably make it 3-4 shows. The 18” can usually squeeze an extra show or two out because I don’t use it nearly as much
