I need to get another bottle of Monteverde Moonstone. I loved that ink!

I think the steel Kakamori nib fits your handwriting so much better!! Everything looks more crisp, and shows off the ink more…like, not so much ink is going down. I had no idea there was such a difference between them! I really prefer the look of the steel. Good choice!

You’re so right! I’ve been loving the steel nib too!

@@KarynaLovesToPlan I’m glad you like it! It really seems to suit you. I always have seen the brass nibs, and my writing is also somewhat small and l felt that brass nib would never work for me unless I wrote with large lettering. I’d probably have a lot more luck with the steel one! I’ll see if I can try one out at my local stationery shop!

I really love your handwriting with this nib. I think I’ve recommended it before. I’m glad you like it!

Oh thanks, I've been loving this nib!

Ha! I have bottles of all of these except the Private Reserve Avocado, which is too saturated for my taste. Your taste in inks is exquisite (in which I compliment you while also complimenting myself, as we have the same inks). The Rhodia paper record from the very beginning was such a good idea, what a wealth of information for you.

Also Karyna what kind of paper do you have in the 3 ring binder for the swatches? I am looking to do a similar system to that

It is Tomoe River Paper I bought on Amazon.

Good morning Karyna! Oh gosh I need that monteverde moonstone - so gorgeous!! Oh and then to follow it with the sailor 273 - I need that too. Lovely swatches!!

The Nightingale and the Rose made me think of Dominant Industry - Autumn Forest. Are they at all similar?
@KarynaLovesToPlanКүн бұрын
Autumn Forest is an olive green base whereas Nightingale and the Rose has the brown base.

I love The Nightingale and the Rose! I'm not so big on browns, but the rosy shimmer really makes it for me.

I didn‘t get along with the Kakimori brass nib at all, but the steel nib is just wonderful. 😊 Thanks for sharing these inks, Private Reserve Avocado is a favorite of mine, but the others I haven‘t tried so far… I‘ll definitely get a sample of the Sailor Ink Studio 273, it looks gorgeous! ❤

Glad to hear that the steel works so well for you! It took me a while to get used to the brass but I loved the steel immediately!

ahhhh, sailor Ink Studio 280 is under-rated if you ask me! it is one of my favs for sure.

Yup. Adding more inks to my wishlist 😅😂😂😂😂😂 Thank you for the video! I already had moonstone on my list but the sailor inks and the wearingeul ink are definitely on it now. Lol 😂❤

It's hard to resist a good ink haul, isn't it?! 😄

Your swatching seemed better with the steel nib. I saw someone else saying it gave sharper lines and perhaps the inks roll off easier on the steel nib? I have a Tom's Studio nib in brass but haven't gotten around to trying it yet. I also have some Chinese Duck nibs to try out eventually. 😊

Yes, the steel nib is much better for me so far! And it sounds like you have tons of fun nibs to try!

sailor ink studio 280 might be closer to BPC’s weeping willow than Diamine’s. It’s (BPC’s) more saturated and is one of those inks that goes on green but dries more brown-green with some chromoshading. But sailor 280 does look more distinctly green. BPC weeping willow is such a complex colour, whenever i compare it to something else it’s never right 😂 it looks so different depending on the light Trying to convince myself I don’t need another chromoshading green 😅
@KarynaLovesToPlanКүн бұрын
Ooh thanks for the info on the comparison. I do not need to find BPC Weeping Willow… 😂
