I really, sincerely hope ATH can find a stockist in the US in the near future. It is like being a kid and watching your friends playing outside while you are stuck inside because you got grounded. i love the way aaron breaks down each note and ingredient in a way you can visually see for yourself. Especially in the last couple of vids I've seen of him, he comes alive and truly gives life to the fragrance

absolutely fantastic and I am intrigued and eager to acquire some of this perfumers masterpieces as I have never been made privy to his existence until I came to your channel so I thank you for that too. the only problem is I am in New Zealand so buying things from the UK is triple the amount for me :( but I am totally in love with his idea of not branching out to retails and keeping his scents and fragrances pure and unique. the world of fragrance needs this aspect!

I have seen ATH getting some hate from some people. From where i see it, it is always to those that are into designers more than niches or niches that releases designer, mass appealing kind of fragrance. ATH fragrances are bold and daring and i actually love it. The longer you let it mascerate, the better it is jn my opinion. And like all fragrance houses, there will always be some that people wont like. There is some masterpiece that was created loke smoulder.

Cannot buy here in the US yet. I'm VERY intrigued with this. Why? The reviews are exactly split 50 50. This is extremely rare! One word, POLARIZING!!! And I'm a polarizing kind of gentleman. Would love to try fragrances, crafted by Aarons nose, that are interpretations of designers such as Yves saint Laurent, Chanel, Guerlain ect. Something like a formula 1 driver, dressed in tailored Armani schmoozing with the hoity toity at an art gallery. That's what I would expect from Aarons creations based on my perception of him via these videos. Anyway, thanks to you both for spending the time and effort to help us plebes, and curious, understand and appreciate this craft much deeper.

Not sure if you mean it as a pun, but in case you're serious: From a chemical perspective I think it has to do with the volatility of the individual ingredients, i.e., how likely they are to evaporate. The wiki on this is pretty decent: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Note_(perfumery) By combining chemicals that evaporate very quickly (e.g., citrus notes) with others that do not (e.g., woody notes), you create fragrances that seemingly have different layers.

Hi Chris, I have lots of small bottles from Perfume Parlour fragrances for men. I like them all. However of the new ones I have ordered, they seem to be more pale in colour than before. For example my old bottle of PRADASS 0642, now called THE ITALIAN, was a deep amber colour, and the new version is almost clear in colour. I phoned them and they said that the colour of the liquid gets darker as they age, and sunlight has no effect on the fragrance. I would be interested to know if you thought the new name changes have meant less strength of the fragrances, and whether you agree with their response. Thanks. Brilliant educational videos.

Yes I agree with Perfume Parlour. Perfume gets darker especially when naturals are used. Also slightly different versions of aroma chems might be used that results in the same smell but could maybe change the juice colour.

A 10ml bottle is enough to wear for weeks, months if you use it on occasions. 50ml could easily be enough for a year. I can tell that Aaron is having a kick out of this. I've been on the lookout for something naughty. If this ships to the US I consider buying. Love the name and the label. Simplistic, dirty yet classy! The two of you contrast each other perfectly!

I finally had a chance to smell a "SLUT" sample. It's a lovely fresh citrusy bright sexy fragrance. It imediatelly reminded me a lot of a strong Aqua di Parma "Essenza" perfume. No wonder, since "Essenza" has almost the similar ingredients... (but without the Filth ;-) Neroli, Lemon, Orange, Bergamot, Pettigrain, Jasmin, Patchouli, Musk & Amber.
