The selector will not be available to obtain after alpha cw patch ends and will expire from the inventory about a month later. Reasoning for Chrome > Garnet: He can shred ice resist, just not fully without his sig weapon. Ayla runs out of orbs so Chrome glory needs to cover, Alpha cw doesn't give a f*ck lmao. Arclight is also just a good enough temporary substitute. I've seen cn clear tifa 580w with just alpha arclight and lux. That being said, Vera hot waifu and still shreds better then arclight so um good luck choosing. o7 (If you have everyone SS and selena SSS, work towards empyrea SSS) 1:04 you could also pick up tenebrion instead if you don't plan on picking up Karen scire or using no 21. Both him and lumi are good options.

Man even after this I'm still completely torn on who to pick. I want Garnet to finish out my lightning team with Crimson Weave, but I also want Glory to start an ice team since Ayla's free and I randomly pulled Hypnos. It's genuinely such a tough choice to make.

Do you have empyrea? Ifnot she's the best option but if so honestly if you don't mind using chrome arclight over garnet I would pick chrome glory seeing as changyu is terrible

If it's a decision between the two of them, go for Glory. Chrome is good enough since CW will be on field permanently. But until Qu is available, Ice team needs to rotate and there is no good alternative for Glory.

@@ArkThePieKing she's passable and you can get Watanabe epitaph in 6 months and pull for hyperreal in the upcoming anniversary banner if you wanted but just in general empyrea provides a lot of value being an amp and being usable on off element teams as well as being a staple in the upcoming void element a year from now

Definitely going for Glory. Not only is ice my least built team, but on the 2 occasions I've gotten off-banner (6-star) weapons, it was his weapon both times.

ngl i just cameback to the game 2 days ago after almost 2 years of hiatus and picked Rosetta on free 5-star selector with her weapon from the guide event. Got Liv Empyrea from rotational banner (the 60pulls guaranteed thingy) and planning to get Vera garnet from the current free S-rank selector event. I picked the right choice before even watching this, feels good

Honestly crazy how things changed after learning more about the game. At the start of the year I was going to go for Alpha CW, Feral Scent, and Vera Garnet, but now (as a noncompetitive player) I have Alpha CW with Liv Lux and Chrome Arclight and skipping both Feral Scent and Vera Garnet (going Chrome Glory during the selector). I want to save up BC to get Hyperreal during the anniversary (I was lucky to get Empyrea) and also getting Lamia, then Watanabe and Qu.

I was going to pick Garnet to pair with Weave but then I lucked out on Mechanami off standard banner to pair alongside my Hyperreal, now Empyrea is a definite for me. We completing our fire team with this one.

Empyria can single handedly carry fire teams in lower difficulties. But you can also get Plume from the previous selector / Bambi from A rank grind + free Ayla from dorm and pick up Chrome here for a full ice team for free. Physical is kind of hard to set up from scratch but dark is pretty ftp friendly for lower tiers as well as Vera Rozen is actually one of the best A ranks at max investment and free Luna.

Day 5 player here and this is really helpfull. I got plume and garnet from base so i guess chrome is a good choice for my acc. On chapter 7 currently and hopefully i can get crimson weave before her banner end.

Can i ask what characters are u using? Cause plume is ice and garnet lightning righy? I started 3 days ago and still didnt reach chapter 4 😅 i dont lvl up anything cause i dont want to waste resources, so i barely have 1000 bp at most haha and missions are like 1600 bp, starting to get tough completeing them in time and without dieying. I have neither Nanamech, nor HyperLee, is it still worth it to get Liv Empy? Chrome would probably be the most logical choice, I have Plume, and just yesterday got Ayla from the Dorm, but both are at S and Ayla has no sig weapon... I was planning on getting Garnet, since I got CW Alpha to SSS with weapon and Cub and want to make her even MORE powerful. I'm 3 pulls away from pity on the standard banner, maybe I'll get lucky and get her there. But aside from that, I don't know if I'll have another chance to get her. And with her Leap coming and Wolfy No.21, I really gotta skyrocket that lightning team

Yeah I think you convinced me to get Glory, I was thinking of Empyria, but also the only fire dps I have and like is Nanami Starfarer so I really don't have any plans on finishing the team in the near future, but my next most anticipated character is the new Qu ice attacker frame so I think I'll prepare the team for her beforehand!

I'm thinking of getting Liv, because there's still about 5 months until Alisa, so a Phys Amplifier would be welcome. My Ice team is scuffed but good enough, especially since I got Ayla and Lucia Plume is at SS, Fire I don't use because I skipped Lee so it's waiting for Black Rock Shooter. Physical is my go-to, with SS3 Bianca and SS Rosetta, and Karen Blast as a placeholder for gather, so Liv would be a big plus until I can get police girl Alisa. And I have all the pieces for the Lightning team now, so I just need to finish Lucia's memories, and start getting her fragments from Pain Cage shop to get her to SS eventually. Especially since I finally got her weapon. I lost *3*! times on the weapon pull, so I gave up, scrapped the crap I pulled, and bought from the shop.

Trying to pick between Chrome and Garnet myself. My ice team is SSS Virtum, S Brilliance, and SS Kaleido and that seems to be working well. Lighting team is SS CW, SS Arclight, and SS Liv Lux. But apparently Glory needs his sig and I don't have the spare skulls to SS vera. Ugh

I'm torn between Garnet and Empyrea to work towards their SSS. The thing is, we'll get Garnet shards in Voucher Shop eventually, while with Empyrea I'd be reliant on any future S rank selector + 1 anniversary banner (which I dont know if I'd have the spare BC for, probably not). Im picking Feral Scents SS3 up in Lamias patch through the Basic banner selector, so cant pick Empyrea there. Already have Capriccio SSS and soon Rosetta SSS, so I wont pick those.

All of these newer S-Class characters are already SS on my account, so I might go for either Luna or Plume in this selector since they're still single S... maybe Luna. I think my Dark team needs the most help in terms of damage output. I don't have Tenebrion nor Karen Scire for Dark Tanks, but I do have SSS+ Rozen & 21... and with the release of Ayla, having SSS with Signature Haicma & having Plume's signature weapon... yeah, my Dark team needs the most help, since I don't even have Luna's Signature weapon either.

tough question, Im currently having physical & fire team with: Hyperreal SS - 0 res; Liv Emp SS - 1 res; Nanamech - 0 res (will pull for Epitaph and his sig) Rosetta SS 30 shards - 1 res; Bianca SS - 1 res; liv lumi Im planning on SSS rosetta or liv with BP voucher, which one do u think will benefit my warzone/ppc score more?

I'm having trouble picking what S Rank to get as well like everyone else here. I have the full Physical and Fire teams built and got Luna-VeraRozen-21 for my dark team, Vera and 21 are SSS. For Ice all I have is Ayla no Sig or CUB and for Lightning I have Crimson Weave and her CUB no Sig, planning to get it at some point later same for Ayla with her CUB and SIG depending on what's more important. My question is to at least get another Ice like Lucia Plume or Chrome to be closer to finishing the team or double down this patch and finish the lightning team and get Vera Garnet. If it helps I have Vera Garnet Sig Weapon and the Boreas CUB if that changes anything.

As a returning player, i was so hyped after finding out Alpha was on the selector and that her 6* weapon was accessable. She's so darn cool and I had no decent physical attacker. So naturally i picked Alpha. But suddenly, after pulling on the standard banner, Kuro decided to give me Bianca Stigmata and I just got to know that she's the current META now and boy how I regretted not Picking up Rosetta. Now it seems that I have to get Rosetta instead of empyrea to complete my Physical team. Or should just get empyrea because of how valuable she is? Any thoughts? Appreciate the suggestions

Yeah uts prolly gonna be Liv, Ive been playing pretty casually, on and off, for a couple years now and ive NEVER had anything close to a decent fire team. It shows up in WZ and I just dont participate. Recently though I've got my hands on Hyperreal and HOLY HELL, hes the hero I needed 😂. He basically solos the content, but my sub par Sophia and Nanami (the second form, forgot what shes called) really hold him back. Im not seeing Starfarer any time soon, so I can at least replace Sophia.

Phys Alpha is outdated. It's either Chrome or Empyrea.

Plume won't be outdated until end of year, so you got a while on that one. But if you don't have Chrome Glory, get him because he's still kicking a year from now.

Vera is still an upgrade over arclight, and remember that she is getting a leap late this year as well. But if you have any other missing slots in your party, you could wait until the next opportunity to get her.

Honestly it's not as necessary as liv empyrea if you don't already have her also chrome glory is probably a better option since him and Empyrea have no suitable replacement option as opposed to garnet but if you do get her she is a good upgrade just not priority over empyrea especially

-You have hyperreal or nanamech but not empy? → Get empy -You already have empy and your ice is well invested but you lack an ice tank? → Get chrome (though he's likely to be the next one replaced on cn) -You have all of the above, don't want to invest in ice (for example, you only have bambinata with 5* weapon) or want to make your lightning team as strong as possible? → Get vera I'm going with the last one, already have empy and my ice is cope anyway.

I'm running a bit low after using them for CW and Vera Garnet. Oh it’s nice Selena’s in there. I didn’t have the patience at all to farm that mode for her. Being limited to shuffling for random characters was not fun for me and im not a fan of the roguelike menu simulators they keep pushing for.

All I have is a phys team and alpha CW. Since garnet isn’t the most needed for lightning team and I wanna spend this selector wisely. should I get chrome for ice team with Ayla or Liv and get hyper real during the event where you can get any s rank from standard?

I'd lean towards liv for the future team, chrome if you want a team now with ayla.

Have to get Vera for Alpha crimson Weave. Sucks that my phys team has no Liv Luminance though..or Bianca Stigmata. But for now I might as well try a lightning team since I have my Liv Lux at SSS.

Just use Liv Eclipse. She's amazing for survivability. I still B Liv with my Stigmata and she's great.

My 2 options as I see it is either to SS rosetta or to SS empyria. The main issue here is that my fire team is a lot more invested than my physical team (stigmata only at S, hyperreal at SS + sig + full hypertune). Should I still prioritize empyria over rosetta?

Im thinking about piking Crmson Abyss because i already have Rosetta from previous selector. The thing is, can she out dps on War Zone (with Psychical dmg buff) my Crimson Weave? Just because of time stop i dont really think that she can do it. And getting Bianca Stigmata is not an option because i need to save for Feral Scent

Gray ravens is saying Gloria, but is 6% res shred really better than the 10% def shred on Voltaire or the 8% dmg bonus on Samantha with half the cooldown? Thanks again in advance

@@xhyz54 I suggest you pick Empyrea because she can carry you in fire WZ and PPC. Vera has a decent sub anyways which is Chrome Arclight.

What's better cw with wep, vera (if i get her on picker) with wep, no supp or full fire team (if i get empyrea) but all of them has no 6* weapon. Its really a tough choice picking since i kinda want both but im saving for lamia too.

My Ice team is pretty set rn since I randomly got Glory on the standard banner. I just got Crimson Weave (And her weapon. 1 10 pull. Woo hoo). So my Lightning team is looking pretty solid atm. Im gonna get XXII Amp next so I can have a stacked Lightning team. Also my name is also Vera and I love that for her

Hard disagree on Chrome and Garnet. Chrome's shred is only 5% higher than Changyu's and he also requires you to pull for his sig weapon in order to apply it passively. If you suggest SSSing Capriccio to newbies, then you also have to suggest SSSing Garnet through the future battle pass (it will be much easier than Capriccio), and here with her leap she will offer a crazy 35% shred to CW, on top of being an important member of the lightning team in order to utilize the amplifier benefits.

I have the physical team (Bianca, Rosetta and Liv) a dark team (Luna, Vera and Nr. 21) and a lightning team (Lucia CW, Chrome Arc, Liv Lux). Other than that I only have phys Lee and A-Ranks. I dont really like both fire Lee Dps and would prefer playing BRS for fire and Qu Shukra for Ice. I like Liv empy though. So who should I choose? Btw how long does it take to get 15k standard banner cards?
