I know it’s not perfect and the OG holds a special place in our hearts but you have to admit the amount of work and efforts they put in these games was poured out so deeply especially in Rebirth. Remake was great too but Rebirth having so much to explore it’s insanely fun. To have your beloved characters, stages, EVERYTHING to be expanded into today’s technology is incredible. Can’t imagine what they’ll do for part 3.

The environments, the towns were such a surprise how amazing they looked!! The music also plays a great part - Under Junon song is one of my favourite among many others ❤ They've done also an amazing job with the combat and synergy skills - it is so addictive 😂 I can't imagine how difficult the localization work must have been with all the subtexts 😅

It is a masterpiece. The best game of the year and I think it will be one of the best in history. When I finished this game I had the same feeling as the movie Dune Part 2. I had witnessed something amazing visually and soundly. Square, if you are reading this, I am no one to influence, but as a fan I ask that Aerith and Zack have a just ending. Just amazing that FFVII Remake Trilogy is real. We are half way there already! Looking forward to the final chapter in the story. FFVII has been part of my childhood and means alot. Cosmo Canyon was something special, the environment and music was something. But his teen voice wasn't that great for me, his older and wiser VA was better. I really do hope they have more original weapons. I wanted to use the nailbat and the Cutlass. It would have been nice to have some more limit breaks as well.

Remember that Cloud is telling the events of the Nibelheim incident. *spoilers* Cloud didn't go into the reactor when Seph initially lost his sanity so Cloud never met Genesis there, and Zack probably never mentioned him while Cloud had mako poisoning. Cloud went inside the reactor for the first time after the town was burned. So both versions can coexist and be canon at the same time.

I don’t think people are hating on Aerith when they say she should stay dead, it’s just that her death is such a major part of the story and experience of ff7. The main theme of the game and AC was loss and learning to move on and I think a lot of people feel like it’d kinda cheapen the story if we can just revive her and get a happily ever after. The unknown journey ends up being known. Aerith meddling with the planet and white whispers was the reason, as I see it. Also, what Sephiroth wanted… he wanted her to pray at that spot… “Hold to that hatred Cloud”… He will once he opens his eyes.. like the groups feels. After 25 years, I was the camp of saving Aerith. Not because I think she is a romantic partner to cloud, but I wanted her and Zack reunited, in a more satisfactory manner than in advent children. But sometimes, you just can’t get what you want. As is stated: “No promises await at journey's end”

@squareenixna could you please PLEASE add FSR Frame Generation option to the game for PS5? It's available now and I think it might really help make the game a more enjoyable experience so we don't have to be locked to 30fps in Quality Mode. Performance Mode unfortunately is very blurry and I think many people are put off by the game because of it. I love Final Fantasy games and even for me it is very hard to play because I keep hoping for an update that will really improve performance with the better graphics and I don't want to experience it in it's current performance settings. PLEASE 🙏

I think Final Fantsy XI, XIV and VII are going to end similar to how XVI, how everything magical and cosmic and the lifestream become a novel book to the real world. It’s in their title, “Final Fantasy,” the finale of fantasy. Not reality. It means all of the characters known in the Final Fantasy world are going to be turned into novels and the real world an important part of Final Fantasy and Square Enix.

The American localization team needs to be more attentive when it comes to faithfully translating the work from Japanese. I’ve already seen a couple posts on Twitter detailing how some of the translations in certain scenes weren’t one for one and skewed the meaning of certain scenes.

I'm pretty sure they killed her here again. All this buildup with changing fate and stuff was a bait to make Aerith fans still buy the game. And now they set up hope with the ending that she might have survived so the same sheeps will buy part 3. Tbh the game was good, but considering that they even brought Zack back to life but couldn't manage to spare the character, so many people had hopes for to survive, kinda turns off. I'm sure part 3 will be as good at this one, but still, it's not for me anymore. I'm not here to bash the game, like I said, it is insanely well done, I'm just speaking for myself and how I feel about them changing the plot where it was completely unnecessary but being faithful where people would hope it actually mattered.

I will not take away from the beautiful visuals, and exciting battle system. But the remake and rebirth just break my excitement. I just feel there changing way to much of the core ff7 story experience, the build up doesn't hit the same, and there are so many things that conflict, it doesn't make sense.. It is not a remake what so ever. I feel if that's what there idea of a remake is, they should of just did something else.

u guys failed the combat part what is up with the limited materia ? why can i only have 1 comet materia? why only 1 strenght materia ? why 50 accesiories we dont need or never will use anoying bosses wich proof no challenge only anoyance come on square dont make the game suck! like! if u want them to step up theyr game!

the first remake was great the rebirth is no good at all. Way too much mini games/side quests, many are actually rather annoying. it should rather focus on the main quests n story. the characters model has a bit of issue, aerith/tifa cheeks and jaws a bit too bloated looking somewhat chubby, but clouds cheeks were too slim that look unrealistic. also their nose were too long n eyes a little overlarge, their nose tip would also look better if pointing a bit upwards instead of down. there are ppl who built the models online that looks better.

The people at Square and the creators should make Cloud move on with his life, no more talking about who the guy should stay with, Aerith died and that's it, the freshness of my love died, Cloud needs to move on with his life , find a new sequence for life. I would really like to see Cloud finally come back to life and for a new love, especially with Tifa, I see that these two characters have a very strong bond, the two fit together so well and I would be very grateful to see these two together, no just for them, what they built together after two.

I don’t see it, their interactions seem forced and awkward to me. I’m not sure how they’ll end it tbh I’ve seen more chemistry between Tifa and Sephiroth at this point

I support Clerith more than Cloti, but I cannot help but feel disgusted at anyone who ships Tifa with someone old enough to be her schoolteacher. There's no romantic chemistry between her and Sephiroth either. Their relationship was just professional at best not unlike a student and teacher on a field trip. If anything, Tifa should be with Zack.
