I saw a new method of applying makeup: 1. Moisturizer, 2. Loose powder, 3. Setting Spray, 4. Primer, 5. Foundation and then the rest of your normal makeup. I've tried it and its my new method. Would love to see you try it!

It's never a good idea to put powders under creams. It will cause your foundation and concealer to slip and slide, pill, and accent in fine lines. I have heard of some people with extremely oily skin using the powder then setting spray method to keep the oil down. But I wouldn't recommend it for everyone else.

Jordan Libery did a video on how to do this effectively years ago. When done as intended, it can work!

Some foundations just work so much better with it. I do think it helps longevity and I think I'm less shiny. I'm not as observant as some, but I feel like it lessens my pores and my makeup doesn't wear off as easily, but the texture is fully set without being cakey. Anyway, I just wondered about other's experiences and if more seasoned makeup lovers had tried it. I love techniques where you don't have to buy anything new. @@montananerd8244

I have the same cough and was freaking out when you mentioned it😅. It really does make me anxious. It's happened in a store and wouldn't stop, even with water. I went outside and kept coughing. My sister was like "are you okay?", dohhhh no gurrrrrrrl 😅😅😅. I felt like people were thinking oh crap she's got Covid because it was last year. Omg Mandy you know how it feels and out of nowhere! I get anxiety about it too so you're not alone, if that helps😅. I have a couple of friends they deal with the cough too. I hope you feel better soon, sending well wishes and hugs! ✨️✨️❤️😊

Mandy, my Mom is 77 years old and as long as I can remember she has suffered and I mean *SUFFERED* with a weird cough. It can get to the point that she has thrown up! She has pretty bad dementia now (heartbreaking) and she still gets uncomfortable coughing around people.....like she is still worried it will bother other people. I just give her a sucker and that helps her stop. We cannot give her cough drops anymore......she has no idea what they are and will choke on them. Just so you know other people really do have the same thing. Sorry you have to deal with this. I know it sucks

I'm sorry your mom is suffering. I used to cough all the time and then I found out it was due to blood pressure pills I was on. Maybe you should check on your mom's medication to make sure coughing is not a side effect of any of them.❤

Ok, so, bronzer. I'm a photographer and had a bride use bronzer to better define the *cough* chest area on herself before her bridal shoot. It worked out pretty well, actually. I've also witnessed a makeup artist sculpt abs on a movie set. Would I ever sculpt myself? No. But it is a handy trick.

I do not own bronzers and am wondering if I really need one. What does it do for your face? How do I know what shade to buy? I wear a tinted moisturizer on some days and on others just a Bare Minerals loose powder. When I use a powder do I still need a concealer? Does the concealer go on before the moisturizer/powder? Bronzer is good if you have a really flat colored foundation and want to just give the outer perimeter of your face a little bit of darkness. It can also be used on the cheekbones to bronze and contour your cheekbones a bit. It can also be used if you have too light of a foundation for your skin, you can put a light dusting of it all on your face to darken it slightly. You probably get a bronzer like 3 shades darker than your foundation. You can use concealer if you use powder, or even if you don’t. It’s completely your choice! The order usually goes….moisturizer, foundation, bronzer, concealer, powder. But honestly, there are no “rules” you can use anything you want, in whatever order makes you most comfortable 😊

I have that essence highlighter and love it. It seems to shatter easily imho. I barely dropped it, and broke into a million pieces. Had to fix it. P.S. many years ago i had a cough that lingered for months. I would be talking, and then break into a random coughing fit. Drove me bananas.

Too Teenager for the lip gloss. I bought it too. I don’t know if this is just you or if it a kind of filming quirk, but I notice how often you lead with a regret you have about a purchase or choice. Maybe a little indecisiveness at the time of purchase, but I can’t tell if you really regret the color or whatever because it seems like your starting place is “I wish I had…” or “I am sorry I ….” That leaves me unsure if I should get the product. I do love uour channel. I laughed loudly at the bronzing your abs and “if you do that you and I are living very different lives!”😅

Dang Mary, if your life is so miserable, that you feel the need to insult someone just because they said they’re afraid of having a coughing fit in public, perhaps you should make some changes to your life. 🙄 Having a cough attack in public is a legitimate fear, and anxiety inducing problem. Who are you to say what would cause anxiety and what may not? This isn’t a competition of who has the best life and who has it worse 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️ It’s a makeup channel lady. Lighten up
