Geordie is a petulant pup, not overly enthusiastic or energized, but more morosely content with just chilling out and relaxing. I get the impression that he saves his energy for something more important than assisting Peter with his vlogs. Seeing him lay there so quietly content, helps balance the tone of this video when contrasted to the frenetic activity required to tear out old fuel lines by a frazzle-haired wild man... 🤣

Hi Peter, There is no real knack to pouring bottled beer just remember to tilt the glass almost horizontal to begin the pour, as the beer goes in tilt the glass to except the liquid but keep space between the pour and the fill to a minimum, if the beer has to travel the length of the glass it will release carbon gas resulting in all head. great channel keep it up. regards John Wild

Hello Peter, we Belgians (we are a beer-country 100%), would always rinse our glases with water just before pouring beer into our glass. Do not dry your glass and keep the opening of the can very close to your glass when pouring to reduce the length of the waterfall of beer into your glass that should be hold at 45° angle at first. Pour slowly even when thirsty ; ). So far my only useable advice from Belgium my famous beer country. I loved the episode of the fuel lines and the technical background on the double filter on boats as backup when the boat starts rocking. Cheers and say hello to the pup. Didn't find any eggs this time btw. ; )

Peter, I can buy you a box of #10 1-3/4 galvanized wood screws from Hamilton Marine here in Maine and mail them to you. The cost is pretty minimal. It would probably take about 2 weeks to get them to you. OK, maybe 3-4 weeks since the package would have to go via both the USPS and Canada post. Of course it is possible that one or perhaps both post offices would manage to destroy the screws. I once shipped a box or rocks from Washington state to New Brunswick and they arrived broken despite being individually wrapped in a wooden crate inside a cardboard box. Let me know if you would like to go that way. Don't worry about the cost. While I was watching you prepare to blow the fuel back through the racor filters I was thinking...How long until he remembers there are check valves in the racor filters.

About shipping,,, use a forwarding company, ie have ur supplier ship to a company like JetCarrier and they ship to you, taxes and customs included (if any). I have done that many times as a majority of US/CA stores does not ship overseas. Another benefit is if the stores have free ship within the US and I want to order from several of them, I have them ship to the forwarder who then collects it all and make one overseas shipment.

Otherwise, I'd definitely help any way I could, if I could. Cheers!

I have 3 tanks aboard my motorsailer . I solved the possibility of overflowing a tank ( by returning fuel to a different tank than drawing) by venting all the tanks together. Then up and out to a common vent. If a tank overflows , it runs out the vent hose to other tanks.

Just make sure you leave documentation of the 4 valves and their function in each position. I've encountered boats, cabins, and RVs that had S.P.O.T. plumbing or wiring done. It takes a lot of detective work sometimes to figure out what the previous owner was trying to accomplish. It is sometimes faster to remove all the old and start fresh, but I leave drawings or labels on everything I've done for the next owner.

Travels With Geordie I live in Puyallup and world in Tacoma. If I can do anything for you from here let me know. Im always willing to ship something if necessary. I’d have a hard time justifying driving all the out to the chandlers you asked about during a lock down. Normally I’d be all over a road trip. I often order Tea from Murchies up in your area. My wife and I came up there a few year ago for our anniversary and found them by chance.

You might try Tacoma Screw Products In Tacoma. I know they carry gal. wood screws but do not know about shipping. I am currently in IL or I would be happy to help out.

Hi Harry, thanks for the suggestion. I've heard some unhappy reviews of those screws. They won't ship to Canada either.

Sorry to hear that. It has been a lot of years since I used then for the boat I was working on. Things do change. Good luck with your quest.

Wow, just realised that most of the things i thought was done on your boat was in fact your friends. So the propane tank container you just finished wasn't even for you ? 😐

I also hate diesel fuel, you can never get rid of it, horrible stuff. It must be getting close to your Birthday Peter, judging by the length of your hair, will you let someone else cut it this time ?
