This version probably has my favorite storyflow. I like how Monstro is the first to kind of intrude on Mickey's dream which prompts him to call for help. The heroes teach him how to be brave. Then the princesses are what incite the villains to invade the dream and Mickey uses the bravery he learned from the heroes to defeat them. Love that they kept the Brave Little Tailor outfit too.

This was AMAZING, the crowd was giving of the perfect vibe! It reminded me a lot when I visited DLP last summer and everyone was just so happy that everything was back to normal there was just this energy that I've never really felt before and this is giving the same exact feeling!!!!

Might be a staff shortage, but they could've added more performers in the Aladdin and Mulan segments . The big stage looked empty and very weak for what could been a great segment 😔😔 the updates were very minor but overall it was good to see it again.

This was way better than the way they used the projections and I loved how they added more stuff to the stage. Even the fire on the water was better than before. Plus they used Steamboat Willy for the end. That was clever because in the original version they used the Steamboat Willy Mickey on the other boat.

Very noticeable number of missing elements from the cast previews that I find interesting. Mickeys sword, the sparks on the boat, lasers, and some pyro towards the end. Curious what may be the reason. All in all, a good update and it’s great to not only have a nighttime show at studios again, but it’s great to have a “people-eater” for the evening.

As you can see from the smoke and water effects during the show, it looked pretty windy that day, so it might be a bit dangerous to run certain pyro that can be carried onto a performer or audience with the wind. The wind was blowing to the right, so mickey's sword and the boat sparks would likely have hit the performers

This was amazing to experience in person and I was right to be excited for all of the recordings to come out and to get to forever have the excitement of the crowd immortalized for that first moment when we got to see the show return. Just curious, was this the 8:00 show or the 9:30? I was there for the 8:00 and this feels like what I remember but I can also imagine the 9:30 show being equally as excited for the return as we were.

I love this but I can never go again. My wife and used to go every year for either Halloween or Christmas. My wife had planned on going this year because she wanted oh so much to experience the 50th anniversary with our granddaughter but she passed away in June and never got that chance. I feel like I should see this in person before I judge it.. but man, they really leaned into the clip show aspect of it. And I kinda see that as a negative. California’s incorporates movies and characters into the story of mickey’s dream. Mickey just disappears in this show for like, a good third of it? the show is HIS dream?? Anyway, some of these new transitions are really clunky and forced. After all the new sequences end, tinker bell just shows up.. to get the show back on track?? I kinda liked how she only shows up after the dragon sequence in California. The new lights look SICK on video, and I love how they incorporated the fountains into some of the water screen sequences. But since that mountain is such a large canvas, I’m really surprised they didn’t use more projection mapping like they do for California’s Fantasmic. I just think this version is too cluttered and unfocused. There were so many characters in the original Florida Fantasmic, and they threw in SO MANY MORE. Considering they added so many characters im surprised there weren’t any new practical effects. I think that was a big missed opportunity. Those water screen sequences dragged on REAL long imo. Plus this version still has the stagnant water fountains, I really wonder why they still haven’t gotten world of color fountains in this show. They add SO MUCH to the California version. Plus, California has more fireworks sprinkled in to compliment the water screens, esp in the intro. Kinda wished this show had that too.aaaaaaaaaand this version still has that dragon on a stick. if you can’t tell I’m a fanboy for the California version. It’s almost like this is the budget (Bob Paycheck) upgrade for Florida. It’s too bad this isn’t on the same level as the California version, but it’s still a Disney icon and a fantasTic show. I hope I’ll get to see this version in person some day.

They should update the show more to include more movies for certain scenes like Tangled for the princess section with costume characters of Rapunzel and Flynn Rider, an upgraded heroes section with heroes in battle with their villains, a brand-new animatronic Maleficent dragon, new villains added to the villains section like Shan Yu and Dr. Facillier, Pixar characters added to certain scenes like the Hero and Villain scenes, etc.!

In addition, need I remind you that thanks to people like Smith, Indigenous people's land was STOLEN! Matoaka was a real person who was kidnapped at 17 was roped into a marriage with John Rolfe, was paraded as a marketing ploy, her first husband (Kocoum *yes he was real*) was murdered, her people were threatened by the British for supplies, and she died from smallpox at 20 in London, she never saw her home or her people ever again. Disney's version sugarcoated real history and to this day it's considered very disrespectful to what happened.

Honestly, as a diehard Fantasmic lover, this version is so full of filler and is so disjointed...
