Her sketch writing is perfectly right for SNL to be honest. I think people are just offput by her delivery. “Not even one?” “I heard laughter from the streets” Both those made me literally LOL harder than most stuff on Snl these days. These are classic style SNL lines that would fit perfectly in the Myers/Lonely Island A Golden age or a John Mulaney stand up set.

I like her delivery She cracks me up her last appearance on weekend update was very funny plus she is super cute in a relatable awkard way also people love to hate on SNL these days it seems I have been watching since the 90s and even back then people were saying SNL fell off they have been pretty much since the original cast left but long time fans realize that SNL has always been a bit hit or miss sketch wise and you might say SNL is less relevant these days, but imo that is true of most legacy media

My problem here is I don't even know in most sketches where I'm supposed to laugh. And I don't mean to be a jerk, but seriously, just as a for instance, can someone tell me what the funny part is in the sketch with the guy/girl moving out and one of their roommates flipping out while the other one knows they'll be back in no time?

I have seen her on SNL for a few months now (the few times she is on) and I don't see her as funny. So I went to KZbin. This video is still not convincing me. Not funny at all. Could the reason she was hired for SNL be that her father was a writer on Letterman and In Living Color and her mother was Lorne Michael's assistant? Just connections, not comedic skills. I am not a hater. She just isn't funny.

@@dd212NYC I get it. SNL is trying to diverse their cast and bring her on for the Gen-Z / TikTok crowd. I’m 37 and did not find any of this remotely funny and to be honest, I only made it 5 mins. But, I’m a human being and wish her well.
