What is great about GIDLE is that they are in a moment where: - they are more popular than they've ever been - they've won almost every award possible - they have a very well stablished and well respected brand - they are in their last year of contract with shitty Cube - their maknae line is savage and doesn't sugarcoat things, and that has impregnated the others over time They don't give a fuck anymore. They are in just for the vibes and the laughs. The most natural, relaxed, funny, chaotic and charismatic girl group out there you will see these days.

THE EPIC nature of these specific individuals READS on camera. It shows in your intro for them. They have MORE going on that you can quantify,... before you ever see them perform. When they DO perform,.. you quickly become aware of how many times you are impressed and in so many ways. And by the way,... .are we to believe that girls who spend this much time together JUST getting along and maybe really liking each other is an "Asian" thing?? Is that what K-pop is telling us? Because where else in life or entertainment do girls get along this well with each other???

One of the things missing from rankings and critiques reactions of groups like (G)I-dle, Itzy, BP, Mamamoo, Red Velvet,.... is the big mystery of WHERE are they getting all of this stellar music. WHO is writing these tunes? Who is mixing these beats?? WHY do we so rarely mention producers who put this stuff together? This group and the others have shockingly great discography that we are all enjoying. Why do we never mention who is producing/writing each song? As talented as the singers/performers are,... someone somewhere gave them these songs. WHERE is K-pop getting all of this world renowned music? When we see a BTS performed song,... who shaped that song for them?
