so i'm assuming the line of thinking is that the players are experienced and skilled enough to make the right calls themselves based on an initial call in early round and communications in mid round rather than needing micromanagement, therefore they can go for an igl that just takes the role of captain more than overlord and go as far in the direction of firepower as they can.

but if you want firepower why not go for an igl that has good stats? Snax has a 1.02 vs t2 opponents. I would be suprise if he can get over 0.9 vs t1. Also hasnt won anything as an igl yet.

HOWEVER he still only has 1 tournament with a positive rating and you cant in all seriousnes tell me G2 is a strategically good team. Monesy, Niko, & malbs combined are just too good to fail with. Even Hooxie managed to win with them. And im pretty confident that guy will never appear in t1 cs2 again.

Well... Tbh when I saw news that g2 is making move -hooxi, I though the replacement for him never will be snax. I expected Cadian more than snax, because I knew snax and taz have, or at least had, beef - snax once said he wouldn't play again with TaZ and Neo. Btw, snax a few years ago declined offer from G2 as IGL, I'm still suprised and not convinced by this move, but we will see what G2 gonna coock with this roster
