S24 Ultra look with curved edges would have made the design stand out. This S25 ultra design is very muted and is a degrade.

Samsung messed up the look/design of the phone. Black bezels on camers is one thing, but the rectangular shape whas the IT factor for the Ultra. That's what made the phone stand out. Now it looks just like any other smartphone out there....

The squared off edges on the 24 ultra were not comfortable. The slightly curved corners are a welcome addition. Also, The new elite chip is MUCH better at power and battery efficiency than last year's chip. Combine that with the S25U being thinner, lighter, and not as wide as the S24U and you have a better performing phone overall.

I liked the S Ultra series BEFORE the S Pen. Look for the Note making a comeback in 2026 and the Ultra going without an S pen.

The main reason I liked about Ultra is rugged if not sharp edges and those metallic rings around lenses. Now it's gone , I am not going to hold something that looks like a plastic ball so FU Samsung.

My guy, have you ever seen a ball? The edges barely got a curve, it is a very nice touch that will ultimately aid in the comfort of the phone. It is not the end of the world.

I have been an iPhone user for 2 phones rn, That i have kinda became bored with it and wanted something else, I saw the S24 Ultra design and found it really appealing. So i really wanted to switch to the new phone. But seeing the new design is just so similar now that i might as well stick with iPhone....

Some guys complain but they are not able to buy a chinese flagship even when it's available in their country. It's like you love so much Samsung, you need to buy one. Oppo, OnePlus, Xiaomi, Honor are available in Europe ( maybe not the Ultra but still flagship version). OnePlus is available is North America since many years. Why people complaining on Samsung and Apple every year since 4 years don't buy a chinese flagship ? Smartphones market is mature, Samsung doesn't have Android concurrence in Europe, North America and South America. Accept it and move on. Selling phone is FIRST a business to get money from the regular consumer. Samsung will upgrade charging speed when they will change thz battery technology. Maybe one year later, they will upgrade Ultra-wide on regular S2x and S2x Plus.

Agree 100% about the new worse design, not only does it water down the ultra to look like the peasant s25 device's (as flossy would say) now the ultra looks like an iphone. They kind of made it easy to pass this year for the first time since 2012 for me. Crap design but the same ole camera's (ultra wide is the lewst important one) same battery, same slow cherging speeds etc etc. And still 12gb of ram when far less expensive devices have double that. And increased prices as well here in Canada lol...are you kidding me..really?

I agree about the black rings around the camera, however I would say the design looks more premium besides that. The colors the S24 Ultra had were so fucking terrible, especially the exclusive ones. Having all kinds of colors with random metallic border colors was awful. This year it is much better again. Not on S23 Ultra level, but still improved.
