Note to developer: "Tokens" seems like a bad/confusing label, I think referring to them as "cards" would be better and stating each card can either roll or bet would make things more understandable.

Cards would be even more confusing since they aren't cards. I think the game just has a learning curve that needs to be overcome. It's not very intuitive, but that's what happens when you make a gambling roguelike.

You can hover the lines and corners because those are valid bets in roulette. Many people place chips in a corner to bet on all four numbers the chip touches, less common is the split bet with just two numbers. I'm sure that's why you could highlight those at the same time though. Thanks for the video, love your content!

its the same sort of fascination that i had comparing poker quest and balatro those two followed the same concept of poker rougelike these two follow the same sort of routine, and yet feel so much different this one is way more controllable (and currently pretty unbalanced imo, scores are too low for these numbers to be so high) and more focused on actual gambling, balancing betting with actually rolling the colors/numbers/whatever the you need you dont really add or remove balls, they just become your vessels for upgrades, the actual wheel is more of your deck, and even then it isnt truly customizable, adding to the luck the balatro template is not something i thought could be redone but still feel so goddamn unique early 2024 is goddamn stacked my only real gripe is just that its too easy, either you just got a broken run or this is baby mode D&DG miniseries when i forgot to mention how satisfying this game is, balatro has its little card bops and just bouncy feel, this game has the entire wheel, the ball roll, the turn on level completion, the vibe of the boss these games are just so much eye candy

18:45 It's supposed to do that because in Roulette putting a bet between two numbers is valid, I bet it'd do the same thing if you put the cursor where 4 corners meet since that is also valid. Just a bit confusing because you picked the two numbers that are pretty much identical when flipped lol.

Balatro might be one of the more polished looking "gambling roguelikes" to come out lately. But dont forget luck be a landlord (honestly if there were other games trying to combine roguelikes and casino games before that let me know.) (Also before anyone says it solitaire is not a casino game)

I love the concept of this game, but I'm not sold on it's execution. I honestly find it rather clunky and confusing, and it doesn't flow smoothly. Probably one of those games I'd just need to play for a bit to understand better.

I love balatro and luck be a landlord, but those games the rng can be heavily manipulated to give you a fighting chance, which is why they are so fun, if it was pure rng it wouldn't be fun That being said, roulette (a game that is entirely just luck) is not a good thing to base a roguelike on, same with black jack, because it is just rng, thats why i don't think dungeons and degenerate gamblers is good
