You can make people into or imprint people onto coral wave mutations (I think), and coral can create its own people via coral wave mutations, but coral itself is probably not specifically all sentient, and is definitely not made of people. People are made of it.

Yeah game play wise Coral weapons are part of the coral type. There is kinetic, energy, explosive, coral damage types and you add in melee for weapon types. In general, there is no way to improve any coral weapon with a few exceptions. But on the flip side of that there is no defense stat that defends vs coral. So, if you have the redshift plasma gun and you attack a high energy defense enemy, like the, "We are Coral Warriors, AAAHHHHH!" mission, coral weapons should work fine there. It tends not to matter too much, coral weapons all have weird quirks you'll probably choose over just raw numbers but it's kind of an interesting lore application to gameplay. Like Coral is this new thing and the Institute weapons are so esoteric nobody has developed defenses for them yet. Coral is more just space fungus. If you look at what it does, it's a power source and it allows a bridge for a brain to interface with data. What I think happened with the Fires of Ibis is the Coral blew up and people's consciousness got sucked into the Coral and yeah, they are in there, but they seem to be so fragmented they basically don't exist anymore. If you listen to Ayre at the Ice Worm, yeah, she says her family is in there and I'm sure they are in a way but she also says until 621 came she couldn't interact with anyone. So in effect she was totally alone for 80 years. Which is terrifying.

if you want to S rank this you need a lightweight jumper with the energy shotguns. Use a back weapon of choice thats a fast moving projectile or an orbit.

S rank Coral Export Denial? I'd just go dual ARs (arms with high recoil and good firearms spec) with decent missiles preferably Plasma missiles for area denial Core is Nacht or Lamm with VP-20C for its coral-like spec and be able to AB as soon as its done doing its redline recharge thing, booster is spec towards AB thrust

Coral weaponry does not gain any benefits from energy weapon specialization. Just an important note for builds involving them. Also melee weapon stuff with your arms is rather important for damage.

How is it that you're taking tips from chat and absolutely nobody there or here has picked up on the fact that you don't know how to boost kick. Push the assault boost button then push it again to kick someone. Reverse joint legs have the furthest reach. Melee weapon on cooldown? Don't just sit there, KICK THEM.
