This survey is hilariously fake, and here are 2 reasons why: 1. These are the reasons Mogz claimed the survey was real. - Someone from “the community” claimed to have spoken to a Psyonix Manager and confirmed the update was real - The gmail seemed real First of all, this “someone” didnt actually speak to a Psyonix manager. In fact, this “someone” is just some guy on reddit. I literaly just googled, word for word “Survey Sideswipe Rocket League” and the FIRST LINK that pops up is a reddit post. And the first comment on that post is some guy claiming to have spoken with the manager. So, why didn’t Mogz provide the screenshot of this reddit post? Especially since its illegal to show someone commenting on a reddit post. The reason is because it would discredit his argument that the survey is real. Secondly, Mogz, even though he contacted the official site of Epic Games Support, and they claimed the survey was false, Mogz claimed that it was real anyways because “The gmail seemed real.” Not only that statement in itself stupid, but it is VERY EASY to fake a gmail. I would rather believe the people who work on the OFFICIAL Epic Games website over some random gmail. 2. The images are clearly photoshopped For those of you who have eyes, if you look closely at the cars in the images of the survey, some of them are blurred. If you play the game, the cars do not become blurry when you are moving the cars. It is literally impossible for the cars in those screenshots to be blurred, thus proving it is fake. There are some other signs of the image being photoshopped, but this comment has already gone on long enough. So then, could this mean that Mogz purposely made this video for views? Not rly, he could have made this video innocently and didnt realize the survey was faked. However, it is good to question why he didnt include a screenshot of the reddit post.

the reason i didnt provide a screenshot of the reddit post is because I didn't know it existed until you just mentioned it (and i now googled it). The info I got from the guy who talked to the Psyonix community manager came directly from him via a discord DM. And the reason I didn't provide a screenshot of the correspondence he had with the community manager is because he asked me not to. Its not so much that he is not allowed to screenshot and share the correspondence.. its more than its not exactly smiled upon behaviour, particularly when the info comes from somewhat "private" environment. It's like screenshotting & posting conversations from DMs.. its just not really something people appreciate (myself included). re: the "gmail". Just to confirm - the email address that the survey was sent from was NOT a gmail address. It was actually store@mail.epicgames.com, which is an email address that is confirmed as being used by epic to send out info about their games - as I showed in the video itself (1:22). I personally have received many emails from this same email address, all of which are legit epic emails about games on their store. Something I didnt include in the vid was that I actually found a video about a survey from wayyyyyyyy back in the early days of sideswipe.. it was for Alpha players to give their feedback on how the alpha testing went.. and the format of the survey was actually very similar to this one. Not definitive or anything, but an extra piece of the puzzle. I would also say that I agree that the images look very easily photoshopped, which i said in the vid. However.. keep in mind that these are "concept game modes" ("concept" meaning something that is just an idea, but has not yet become a reality) and so, by definition, they have not yet been created in the game engine.. so by definition, they must be photoshopped. So.. saying "the image in a survey about concept game modes are photoshopped" as though this is some kind of evidence that the survey is fake... yeh that makes no sense AT ALL. Of course they're photoshopped.. its concept art. (sure, terrible concept art.. poorly made concept art... but concept art nonetheless). Hope that clears everything up.

After ur reply, I actually agree with everything you said. Even though u said that the first and second surveys being in a similar format isnt significant, I do believe it is likely that if the 2 surveys are similar, then it likely came from the same company. And for the photoshopped bit, I never thought about the fact that it obviously has to be a photoshopped image because the game modes are not actually in the game. Sry for my mistakes, and thx for clearing these points up for me

I'm so glad Lily agrees with me on this one! If the infinite runner has different challenges and interesting game mechanics, (unlike subway surfers or something) I'll definitely be playing it a lot. It would also be very cool if it has good rewards like coins and tokens instead of just a place on the leaderboard.

Wow I also just came to know they didn't add anymore season rank stickers after season 10, I grinded so hard to reach champ expecting a sticker or text but nothing damn. Yeah they should add more stuff into the game in the coming seasons.

Yeah that was s7. After that they made a small update in s8 and haven't updated the game since. The only thing they change is the extra mode in seasons

I don't know how I feel about this, it's good that they're adding new things but they created 5 game modes without the player base opinion and then tells us which one is best?? If they really want to release an update they need to have a google form that is just one question, "What is an idea that would help the game grow competitively and casually?". In my opinion new game modes sound very boring, as I've been a top player ever since the beginning. An example idea of an update that would be helpful to the competitive side of the game is either to add in-game tounraments, or SSL rank. Cheers 👋

i think tournaments is a good idea and they are probably doing it but SSL would make a lot of people angry including me as i'm not that far off GC. There are about 2.5K GCs by the end of the season and that is still less than the number of SSLs in RL

@@edgeribble the problem is that too large of the playerbase is grand champion, as I play against people all the time that don’t deserve to touch a speck of the rank I’m in. The top 100 or so gcs are so far above the skill of the rest that it doesn’t make sense to have them all in one rank…

@@edgeribble Playing other top gcs is very rare, because there are so few of them, (compared to "bad" gcs. The GCs that play the most are usually the "worse" gcs that have substantially lower mmr, which makes ranked practically impossible to actually grind because of boredom and it becomes impossible to gain mmr. Making another rank would just spread the game out more and hopefully bring older players back to the game for something to grind for.

@@Mogzrl I don't spend money on in app purchases ever but Sideswipe needs this to even keep its servers up. This game needs to stop being a segway into RL like it was for me (tho i still play sideswipe) and stand on its own 2 feet. I think if they added rank based tourneys to the game it would transition well into a pro scene for the GCs and maybe also an SSL rank (nightmare said he wanted this)

i kinda have a concept like the one before rampage, so what you do is u enter the gamemode and u have to bring the ball through obstacles going up and side to side. you can aerial and dribble the ball on ur car.
