I think it's great that the Gate Guardian get retrains and additions. Back in the days of Yu-Gi-Oh! season one, the duel of Yugi and Joey vs the Paradox Brothers was an absolute banger and it fills me with nostalgia seeing this archetype get a revival.

That first Duel is painful to watch. I don't know what obsession the opponent had with targeting instead of doing the rest of their combo as they didn't even seem to care about the Maxx "C".

Because the main combo was stopped when the fire king player got their spell that brings out the field spell destroyed. They need their field to extend if they don’t have a fire king monster in hand. They were going to lose regardless.

Gate Guardian is one of my all-time favs ever since Forbidden Memories! I mainly play my brew with Kashtira for rank 7 spam but I do enjoy your Horus variant a ton! Gonna give it a go eventually.

Maxx c is bad for rogue decks, you need to stop your opponent by other handtraps instead of drawing cards that won't benefit you

My main deck is gate guardian and i would never use maxx c (that's my opinion)

@@sonyfan1612 maxx c can make your opponent not play as much as they would so in a sense it can trap them too all depending on situations. but if your deck is working good on you but maxx c is going great for me so far in this deck.
