As a gate guardian main, here's some advice for you, Susu: 1. D Fissure is the secret spice of the deck. The only monster that cares about being banished is shadow ghoul, but most opposing decks rely heavily on the grave 2. Run things like twin twister and forbidden droplet. They'll drop gate guardian pieces or the spells into the grave, which you can then go into combined 3. Upstart goblin and Riryoku guardian combo very well. The only requirements are that your opponents lp are higher than yours and you have a guardian on the field, even the two-piece ones. 4. Wind and Water is one of your best cards. But while it doesn't destroy the negated spell/trap, it will negate the activated effects of field and continuous cards. When going first, focus on getting out wind and water, even before combined 5. Drop the illusion of chaos and preprep. They're clogging up your deck. Also, consider running Linkuriboh and/or Relinquished anima, so you can do more with souls

Btw @ Jen, i feel like you could have gotten a bit more value out of jet. When you return to hand the card you are attacking, the attack is canceled, if you attack a different target you can kill 2 birds in 1 stone. Well... Kill one and return one atleast. Also straight up declined the return to hand at 27:37 when suijin was a legit target. Ah... And then susu just draws like a god to make it not matter anyway... xD

Great duel guys. I can't believe Susu is still doubting Jen's draw power. A question though, for both of you. Do you realize that Jet Dragon can return ANY card, not just the one it attacks? So you can attack a different monster than the one you wanted to return to get 2 monsters off the field at once. This isn't aimed at Jen, Susu's done it too, as well as my own friends until I point it out.

How about a boss battle with: The New Gate Guardian and the Three Legendary Knights of Atlantis? My thoughts being they both have 3 monsters that are pretty good (or supposedly good) on their own. Then they combine to their ultimate form. Or maybe even Knights vs Sacred beasts? (Same logic)

I would say my go-to is Ancient Gear. I primarily try to make my deck centered around summoning the stronger fusion masters of the archatype, either with the ancient gear fusion or power bond to double its power.

my go to in master duel is mayakashi cause i like yokai and they play hard once learn the way they work i can control or use ftks with bone tower or burn or alittle bit of zombie world if i feel like but i mostly play pure so unless i brick or my opponent out plays me i usually win when i resolve the first effect of the masterful saga trap card that work for both mayakashi and my other fun deck shiranui.

Game one for Jen tho.... Normal summons sage. Adds white stone of legend. Use bingo machine go. Add alternative. Pitch white stone for the draw two plus the blue eyes. Summon alternative. Use effect to pop with alternative. Read texts for potential targeting. Otherwise use ultimate fusion summon and get the double blue eyes and swing.

mm at the 7 minute mark jen could have used the effect of alternat dragon anyway and used her ultimate creature of destruction trap to make sure it works. there are a lot of other options so its not an misplay but that could have worked realy well what was an misplay though is attacking gate guardian with the jet. she should have atatcked the other monster instead. if her plan worked jet dragons atatck would have been cancelled. if she attacked the other monster and used jets effect instead on gate guardian jet would have cleared suzus entire field

If you had foolish burial, you could keep name change prisma to make two gate guardian fusions. Dump the missing piece for prisma with foolish burial, then use three monsters from hand and graveyard to make G.G.combined, then use prisma and the extra piece to make a two piece fusion like Gate guardian of wind and water, to end with 5 negates. Of course you would also need an active Labyrinth wall shadow to do this.

I think they did Combined dirty for being such a new card. It should have been activated when it leaves the field by an opponent's card, not destruction. Also, the targeting is not enough for 2023. It needs more. Maybe, if it was all targeting in general, it might be interesting. Imagine, it prevents potentially 3 attacks, or maybe stops the opponent from targeting their own cards too, it might be more dynamic. It would be cool if it could negate 1 spell, 1 trap, and 1 monster effect each turn too, maybe broken, but I think for 2023 it kinda needs it.
