Might get this to replace my Voodoo lab Mondo, i have a pedal that needs 18v (MXR 10 Band EQ) and 2 AC powered pedals (Ibanez DFL Flanger and Digitech Space Station XP300)

Great video I am going to buy this !! for this reason, you just showed the blue cable which is what I have been looking for for my EHX TubeEQ pedal !! Thanks for your great video. Now I can power my EHX Tube EQ pedal with this power supply including the rest of my pedals.

Thank you! I hope it does work for you, I've never powered EHX pedals with this, so I can't be 100% sure about how they'll work, but I'm sure you know what your doing :D

I think that one blue adaptor is for vintage electro harmonix effects.\m/\m/

Is this the highest number of inputs possible? I’m looking for the ultimate power supply with the most amount of inputs possible. I am a noise artist and use an unusual amount of pedals. Thanks!

It's one of the highest I've seen. Others that have a lot are the Fender Engine Room, the Voodoo Lab Mondo and the Harley Bento Iso-12AC Pro

Hello I have just came across your channel for the first time and listened to what you said about the China situation and you inspired me I agree with you and it's been in the back of my mind for a long time now about the slave labor and you inspired me to take action in trying not to buy anything made in China which is hard to do I'm only one man and it won't mean anything but I'm going to try and do my part thanks for the video and I subscribed

Hey Lee, you're not just one man as I'm trying to do the same. If enough people can do it then it could cause a change. It can be difficult sometimes but there are products out there that aren't made in China, I've even found a smart phone company who make phones in Germany instead of China (they are called Volla Phone)! As for anything where I can't find a product not made in China, I try to buy the product second hand instead. The only other annoying thing is how a lot of Chinese products are cheaper than products made in other countries, but not always (and buying second hand can negate this issue too)! Stay strong Lee, there are some scenarios where you have to buy stuff made in China, but if you can avoid it wherever you can then this will hopefully help! Also, thank you for subscribing :) I really appreciate it!

S pozdravem Peter Soos

You might need to daisy chain together two outputs. However, I would recommend emailing Cioks your question. I've emailed them a few times in the past and they always respond within a day or so and are very helpful.

did you have any luck running the HX Stomp on this Ciokolate power supply? if so, what 2 outputs are you using for it? I just tried it on mine. Seems to power up fine, but its making crazy noise so I'm back to the factory power adapter 🙄

I'm having my pedalboard wired up at the moment, so I'll only just be testing it all out soon, so for now I'm not sure.

@@AdamThomasMusic try and keep me updated if possible... so far, you're the only other person in this 7.75 billion person world who is using this power supply for the same application. Lol

@@AmadoJGarcia Hey Amado, I've gigged it now, and can confirm that so far I've had no weird noises. I did have to make sure the power supply was going into an extension lead that didn't have too much of a load on it, as with too many other things on it, it was causing the power to trip. That's been the one downside so far. As for which sockets I'm using, I have the HX Stomp plugged into a 9vDC 400ma and a 9vDC 600ma. On the Ciokolate they are plugged into the two sockets either side of the number 6 on the power supply. I hope this helps!

hey buddy just wondering since you’ve had this power supply for about three months, can you give us an update on how the noise is. My Walrus Audio Phoenix is LOUD and i need to make a change and was wondering if the Ciokolate is as quite as the Ciok DC7 and DC4?
@AdamThomasMusic3 жыл бұрын
I haven't noticed any noise! There also hasn't been a difference to the sound since switching to the Ciokolate from the Dunlop DC Brick either.

Hey! I just bought this power supply and I want to get your input on the cables that come with the box. Would you say that they are good enough to use on a pedalboard, or would you recommend getting some from a different brand?
@AdamThomasMusic2 жыл бұрын
If you've got the money to spare for some bespoke cables, then they would probably be better. But for me I have just used the cables that came with the power supply when putting together my pedal board, and they haven't let me down.

Ciokolate vs DC7?
@AdamThomasMusic3 жыл бұрын
I've never used a DC7 so I can't say for sure. I guess it just depends on how many pedals you need to power and how much power they require. If the DC7 is enough for you then go for that, if you need more go for the Ciokolate.

@@AdamThomasMusic Yeah, that's something to consider. Thanks for responding and thanks for the insight on the ethical practices of product manufacturing too :)

FWIW, Apple product is manufactured by Foxconn. It's not Apple's factory. Foxconn is actually a Taiwanese company but the factory in question is in China. They have over 100 factories in about 24 countries. It is the Chinese factory in Shenzhen China, not surprisingly, that is where all the human rights controversy is centered. Apple is just who they decided to single out because they are their largest customer. But Sony, Intel, IBM, Google, amazon, HP, and on and on have manufacturing done there. I just wanted to correct the statement that it's "an Apple factory". Apple is fabless, which means they outsource all manufacturing, and have no assembly facilities, which means they don't even assemble their product. And for the record I'm not affiliated with Apple nor do I own a single Apple product. I commend you for your ethics and being willing to pay more as an act of conscious.
