it's a mainline entry (gears 6) not a spin-off just a prequel set 14 years before the first game.

I read a story coming directly from Xbox. The Coalition said they are proud of the sequel trilogy, but couldn't pass up E-Day. So yeah, 6 isn't coming out anytime soon, but it is happening. I suspect it won't be until the end of the decade that we see Gears 6.

@@OnigiriAlSalmone the game overal is actually enjoyable, but the open world sucks, and there are multiple ocasions of stupid writing, like Jd being portraied as a villain for most of the game, or the squad pointing their Guns at the first minister, that would have them executed
