This is what bothers me about rogue right now. Theres no coherent deck strategies. Its just a hodgepodge of mechs, pirates, and hopefully get something useful from another class, with no definite gameplan. Every other class has infinite loop gameplans that lead to a win, sans Shaman.

You're mistaken if you think Legends Stuff is showcasing meta Rogue stuff. If you want infinite loops and a coherent gameplan for Rogue, try watching some of Dane's recent content. He's an actual competent deck maker that consistently climbs to Legend, unlike Legend Stuff, who blurs ranks to hide that they're floating around in Silver. You can still see the rank these games are played at every so often- the end of a video will sometimes flash Legend Stuff's ranking.

@Darkmega11 Dane makes good stuff. That said, it's not coincidence that rogue is at the bottom of the meta and has been for over a year. The one time it climbed out of the cellar, they nerfed the main wincon into oblivion. Meanwhile, warrior and paladin have been atop the meta for nearly 2 years, with breaks for Warlock and DK. Each of which has coherent cards that synergize together.

@kingjezza6567 Unfortunately, rogue hasn't had a good stealth deck in forever. Last even decent one I can remember was when they made SI:7 a psuedo-tribe, and then promptly forgot all about it.

​@@sparaqaiw You are correct in that they have to generate some kind of wincon, but I feel like there's enough consistency in what they generate with certain cards. Maestro, Sonya, Sandbox Scoundrel, Tess, and Griffah seem to be reliable enough in the right hands. The amount of random generation makes it difficult to counter, and as long as you operate expecting averages in generation, I don't see a problem. I think once you add in Tidepool Pupil, there's tons of potential. I honestly don't know the meta that well outside of Wild because Wild is a dumpster fire right now. But as someone who climbed to legend as a priest during League of Explorers, I'm not exactly unfamiliar with playing the lowest rungs of everyone's tier list. Being low tier doesn't mean completely unviable or unfun- it just likely means that they're not well utilized. I don't think there's anything too wrong currently with Rogue's identity or place in the meta. They have enough tools to be viable, they're fun, and I've always thought Rogue's identity to be more about massive card draw, recurring battlecries with bounces back to hand, and mana cheating. It's still there. There might be some weird generation jank happening, but honestly, that was always the fate of Hearthstone once discover was released as a mechanic.
