oh hey the concerts!! genshin's music is genuinely some of the best i've heard, i'm glad you're taking the plunge here. the concerts are always a blast to watch. my favorite is the recent shanghai live concert in 2023. in general, the live concerts are all super great to watch. on top of my head, we have the live concert introducing the region theme song and battle themes for fontaine, sumeru, and inazuma. there's the shorter concert on liyue's music, and then there are the boss theme concert, like polumnia omnia (this one has an opera singer singing the lyrics). if you want to take the plunge into the music, the shorter live concerts may be less taxing to do, though the longer annual concerts are great as well. edit: not genshin related, but check out typewriter orchestra if you are interested in use of the typewriter in music. apparently creative use of things that people wouldn't normally use as a musical instrument is somewhat common. tchaikovsky used actual goddamn cannons in his 1812 overture.

I think Dvalin's nest theme is extremely underrated as well as his boss fight music. You just can feel the sadness of his story and everything. And that piano break at the end of the Dvalin's nest is just... Chills over my body. Whenever I go to this location (tho not that often anymore) I can't help but to stay for a few minutes and to listen 😢

Almost, because albums coming out much later than actual in-game regions, events, character trailers and etc, for example music for wanderer and alhaitham trailers come out pretty recently, while their actual presence in the game was almost a year ago back then

You should check out the Sumeru orquestra and Fontaine Orquestra, they are short ones with two music each that launched with witch region. They are absolutely awesom and feature complete versions of those songs that are not showed on other symphonies. Please enjoy!
