Love your videos Rebecca! Have a quick question about concealer spectrum - where Armani beauty luminous silk falls? Do you lijke it? Was considering buying it and now questioning if I should go for power fabric one instead 😊.

Great question. The luminous silk is most definitely thicker than the power fabric but it’s not as good of a concealer. I have met a few people who absolutely love it. But, generally, when you hear about people really devoted to Armani concealer, it’s the power fabric. The power fabric is indeed thin but it builds very beautifully and I find that it is overall just a better value and a better more workable concealer than the luminous silk. The luminous silk is passible but not fantastic… And that is, of course, just in my opinion.

Ooooh fancy Givenchy!! Over the dark PITS OF DESPAIR!! Lol!! I never thought to use a green color corrector for dark eye PITS OF DESPAIR...I always use a peach corrector (Chanel) for dark circles & a green for redness. And I always use corrector first then concealer & then foundation 🥰❤️ Sorry I didn't get what the blue shade was for? Dullness? What is it supposed to neutralize?

I think the blue is generally for dullness. But, again, I still am of the era when the greens turned you into a witch and the orange just made you look like a big pumpkin. So they’re perfecting this so much and making the shades so much more subtle and usable. I love it all under foundation. The tutorials I’ve taken put even the color corrector on top of foundation and I just don’t think it works

Ordered a few colors of the Tarte concealer and Tom Ford concealer after your reviews. Used them for the first time today, and I'm in love! DARK PITS OF DESPAIR be gone! I did get the green and it worked great with redness in the cheeks. I had no problem covering the green with my normal foundation and a little medium coverage concealer.

Barb! I swear I have everything in that Armani concealer from a shade 3.5 all the way through shade 5.5. And I use them under the eyes around the nose. I used to be very specific about which shade I used and where but now, honestly, it’s whichever one I grab. I am so non-specific with concealers. It’s not even funny

Leazette!! my only issue with the rare beauty is that I get frustrated with a metal applicator and the lack of product that the applicator picks up. To be honest with you, I should be grateful for that because I apply way too much product anyway and this kind of keeps me on a tighter leash.

I never tried it in the peach but the green is wonderful and I seem to have lost it. Boo!!!! Sometimes I put it back accidentally, I mean my staff does, in the wrong product box and then it's only found equally on accident. UGH!

@@jessabeauty917 I think it’s a real true medium coverage concealer. It is not too flat and it does not have a ton of dewiness to it. I think it’s easy to work with and has good coverage. But the fragrance first when you first open it is not a good time.

Out of all of the concealers mentioned, mine haven't popped up yet. I have a full coverage concealer from MUFE but I don't know if it's returning, sadly. It actually works well over the eyes but since using my new Eye Serum from YSL, they've been looking much better and the skin colour is even - finally! My under-eye favourites, plus elsewhere, are YSL Concealer Pen and the Burberry Cashmere Concealer. I've really been enjoying the latter blended out when not using my tinted moisturiser. It has a sponge top which I dab about and blend it with a sponge. A light powder from Burberry and I'm pretty much even. It's just those great big crater-like pores that I wish would disappear! As I don't wear foundation, I doubt that a colour corrector is going to be of much use to me, as I don't have much discolouration. At least the green has been toned down on the Givenchy Corrector, which doesn't make it obvious when foundation is added. Maybe, after you've finished with the concealers, you can try something, anything, to shrink those crater-like pores of doom on my caved in face?🇦🇺💖🕊

I did receive some samples of the Burberry Radiance but haven't tried them yet. I'm loving the concealer, especially as it blends in well with my skin-tone. The powder as well is working great. See what happens when I discover just one great product from a brand, I then delve into other items too. I have to admit that I really do love everything I've bought from Burberry and always using their products on a regular basis. Definitely in love with their lipsticks! We're having a 20% off Sale in conjunction with Afterpay, so I bought another Givenchy Eye Palette! Unfortunately, the other remaining one isn't available where I can get it on Sale. I did find out that a new palette will be coming out in July/August. That probably means that you've already got it.🤷🏼‍♀️ I'm now trying out the Guerlain Abeille Royale Skincare after trying a sample of the Youth Watery Oil. I was so impressed that I bought a Starter Set from Sephora and now have gone in for the full size Double R Renew & Repair Advance Serum at 50ml! It comes in a Set with more Youth Watery Oil, Day Cream samples & a pouch - how cute.💗 It was reduced at one of our Department Stores from AUD$336.00 to $252.00. Not a bad saving. I tell you, something has to finally work on these pores and plumping out my caved in cheeks! I'm getting desperate!! Best of luck with the foundation. Just remember how much I love Burberry, so watch what you say!😉 Only kidding, I only want to hear the truth which is the most important thing.💖 ( PS. My Chanel just arrived today - the Quad & Lilac Balm Essential, gorgeous!).

That color of green corrector will be good for lighter skin with light to medium redness usually found on the cheeks. It looks nearly the same tone as the Nyx HD corrector.

Givenchy also have a lavender corrector on the Prisme Libre range, and perhaps that one would be the best pick instead of the green one. The green corrector is used to neutralize redness. So I guess it would've worked better to combine the lavender and the peach ones to address the brownish undertones of your dark circles. Anyway, fantastic review! I wasn't sure which concealer to buy, and your texture spectrum really helped me choose 😊

I am laughing at the ominous music when mentioned “dark pit of despair” or went back to the mirror. It looks like this will be the year of the corrector and I am here for it! I love Givenchy and generally think they can do no wrong. However, I do agree that the Tarte provided a bit more correction. I might try the concealer though. I am looking for a new one, but I am getting dangerously close to buying the Chanel concealer you mentioned a few months ago. I just wish it wasn’t so expensive!

I liked the green in ur cheek and rumple it hid all the discoloration on your cheek temple and chin. Not so greats on the eye but green can’t cut blue and purple from The eyes you need orange or peach for that. I believe. You are absolutely correct, of course. I guess the Green would work on eyes if it was more of a purple undertone since purple has some red in it. But yes. Green is much better suited to the cheeks. I am going to have a multicolor face before I put on make up! I need to go ahead and grab myself one of the Tarte green shade so we can give it a try. I’m so in love with the Tarte that I do not mind purchasing that at all.

@@NotFitforPrintBeauty hi Rebecca good later afternoon time now is 2:15pm Vegas time ⌚ so not so great news 📰 with my heart ♥ Dr's but time will tell unfortunately they wanna do a stress test on my left side of my heart ♥ to see of my arteries are leaking or clogged or not working right 👉 cause I have heart ♥ disease but in my age 47yrs old it's too soon but it's not normal for a person this young but unfortunately with my heart ♥ failure since I was a baby 🤱 doesn't help so the next step is taken a liquid base IV to the heart ♥ and test it I'm scared cause they say I might feel worse OMG I know I've done tons of stress tests for the heart ♥ before but I always failed and they had to 💉 inject me I can't eat for 4 hrs prior I'm gonna be sick 🤮 cause of my meds without food yikes but I have to take them and if it's not that side then it's my heart ♥ valve that's leaking worse or the artificial mitral heart ♥ valve is not working right anymore I hope I don't go back in for a 4th open heart ♥ surgery but I have a strange feeling and if that's not the case then it's my heart ♥ failing again and nothing anyone can do unfortunately I'm not a candidate for heart ♥ transplants my valves don't work enough for it and they usually put them on a waiting lists for years and years and they only last 7yrs so I would have to get surgery done all the time I've been through alot already so now I'm just hanging in there my friend keep in touch hope all is good with you and your family 👪 and all your community of makeup 💄 lovers 💏 on KZbin
