Really love the honest review. Mercedes used to truly be “The best or nothing” but now they are more interested in making Volkswagens, slapping an AMG badge / grill on them, and then selling them for 10-20k more because of the 3 pointed star. It’s really sad.

I was thinking of getting GLB35 but will wait and see what GLB 45S will be like. I had first A45 Edition 1 and love the sound of that pop and bang so that is a must for me if its AMG. I need 7 seat so love GLB. I wounder when GLB 45S will come out

Honestly at first I was really skeptic about this one. I own a Cls63s and that car feels like it has to much power ( plus it’s huge). When I drove the glb amg it felt much more nimble and not overpowered. I would honestly prefer it over the cls.

I am not a fan of compact SUVs, because as you mentioned, they are just a raised hatchbacks. SUVs should be rugged and purposeful. This one however, somehow looks appealing. I can imagine it with a roof box, or even with off road tires and roof lights..this squary look just makes sense. On a side note though, how on earth this channel doesn't have at least a million subscribers ?!! Amazing work man

As much as I like MB, I stopped buying them because of the stupid infotainment screens being glued to the top of the dashboards. Try as I might to get over it, I just cannot get myself to like any vehicle with an screen on top of the dash. I'll be so glad when manufacturers stop doing this.

Putting the upgraded grill on the non 63 and 45 models is a bad move for Mercedes in my opinion. Its hard enough trying to tell the owner of a AMG badged c220 "AMG Line" who thinks hes driving an amg its nots one. They should have kept it for the true special models. Maybe its just me but im a purest and thats why I bought the 6.2 c63 :) The rest of the car however is lovely and interior on all these latest mercs is very impressive

Totally agree with you. I wish they could have kept the AMG specific grille for the V8 models, something to keep those TRUE AMG models apart from the lite versions. It's getting harder to distinguish these new models, they look too similar.

The GLB is an odd addition to the similar size GLC, it's neither a more capable offroader nor a longer wheelbase model for extra row of seat. Merc should just create a mini G class equivalent.

John Paul the glc43 is not faster than a glc63 or 63s in any measurable shape or form. Nor is it more usable. The only reason for the 43 model in the GLC lineup is for people with smaller budgets. You are mistaking the 63 models with only rear wheel drive. Even then no one would choose a 43 if money was no object.

K Uddin listen! I am talking about the N/A 6.3 not the V8 turbo one. I have dry lots of AMG models and tired of the V8. I bought the first year GLC43 and at that time no V8 model. I tuned it with eurocharge making 489hp and 524 torque. I have taken E63 from a dig and the C63 Biturbo. My 0 to 60 is 3.7 seconds flat and quarter in 11.8 seconds. I like it because it’s lighter and not as heavy as the V8.
