I’ve had mine for about two weeks now and have sent 100 rounds through it with different ammunition. I’m very impressed. I got the non threaded barrel with the night illuminated sights. Love the sights. At 6ft 155lbs it’s a little large for concealment, just had to find the right positioning. I’ll probably pass from old age with this in my waistband.

You are absolutely correct. Glock met the definition of "modular" in the Modular Handgun Trial.

8:24 you have to heat up red Loctite to remove it Using a torch or some thing that provides high heat. you need a higher heat than just a blow dryer You bring the metal up to a high heat temperature and the red Loctite is easier to remove

6:47 That magwell is awesome. I wonder if it affects any magazine compatibility It appears like it will still not fit 17 round GEN 5 magazines. but it looks like you could cut off that little front piece and that magwell would disguise the modification under the magwell.

Remember the 19 X has that little lip at the bottom of the grip which does not allow for GEN five mags

@ yes and if you cut it off it will fit them but it will look strange because you’re missing a piece of the front of the grip. But since the mag well covers that part up, you might be able to cut it off, cover it up with that magwell and now it will accept GEN 5 mags

I have always preferred direct mounting of optics to pistols. So, I buy my fireman’s traditional, but a particular red dot, and take it to my GS. He then mills the slide and mounts the red dot directly.

Magwell looks like a SLR Rifleworks, good 99 beans, comes in that black, but also FDE!

NIce review! Nice setup! Love the optic. I have the G45. The only problem I have is having a magwell on it with the large back strap. People tell me to cut the back strap so it'll fit but I don't like the look.

19x are really something. Not quite my hand size. One has to be aware of mag compatibility, even more so with the added funnel. Just trying to help: The sights should be spoken sigh-lee. You had a good amount of pistols with dots now. How much would you say you feel the size and weight of a big rds in recoil and muzzle rise on light pistols and heavier pistols. Got a 42 oz pistol with a great balance. Adding 45-50 g on the slide may change that quite a bit. I want a big window and it would not be carried. EDIT: Greece...the dpm system guys. Does a bit if there is enough distance, not much on short travel. Would be nice to see that on the phoenix, maybe a new vp9 A1 versions.

The 19 has a smaller grip 19x was tge g17 grip that's the main difference and the color

The 19 has a grip that can accommodate 15 round capacity. The 19x has the same slide of the 19, but has the grip of the Glock 17. The 19x comes with one 17 round mag and two 19 round mags. The 19x also has Maritime Spring Cups to further protect the firing pin channel. The Glock 19 does not have these. The 19x comes with Glock night sights from the factory.

The best current option is an MOS like this with a Holosun "solar" direct mount. All these monstrous sights are not only horrible but are not better. W the direct mount you also use normal sights... Your shown piece will snag: on either front or rear sights, on that bulky sight, etc. Maybe for competition? or a leg rig? Shield has new enclosed sights, those are half the size of these monsters ACRO style if you think you must have a close emitter.....but then......if someone can't use regular sights....they should stay home and keep playing video games.

Have you tried these optics? I’ve been running them for a long time with zero issues. Perfect reliability with very clear glass and sharp dot.

I have a Parker Mountain comp for it. Regarding aesthetics of the optic, does not as important to me as reliability and the clearness of the dot. I’m very happy with it. Thank you for stopping by.
