2 things: 1, don't just run to the cube. You have to stay to unlock it. 2: You'll need to level the smith if you want the lvl 19 weapon, and you'll then need to level the JC for the recipe as it's changed slightly to unlock no level requirements, but it's the same mats required. You just have to combine the 2 gems together.

Seeing you put on crafted gear with vitality and then getting slightly confused because your health got low (hp staying the same but hp% dropping because of added max hp) was kinda comforting in addition to being a fun little moment because it reminded me that no matter how many years and thousands of hours one puts in a game you can and will still make the occasional small silly mistake. Beautiful!! Just one little detail, your very next sacrifice will require a GR key. Mine as well just get 2 rifts done grinding in the 60's at which they will guarantee drop if Torment 1+. One for the sacrifice, the other for Season journey (lvl 20 solo)

ok, here is a thing that it seems everyone miss, if you look at the times, Rex you spent 9min leveling necro from 1 - 20 and then created main char and you went from there, so, if you have to spend 9min and additional to that you have to spend let say another 19min to level monk, in total youre spending 28min, where leveling just monk from 1 to 70 took you 26min, i know its a detail but if you want to be precise you should also add that to your notes, regarding to your times doing DH that way is pointless, because you would actually spend 5 more min of gameplay. I know whats 5min comparing to 2hr but mathematically its not faster. That said, it doesnt mean you wast your time doing that, i love your content, you are really natural and knowledgably, you always think about us average joes and thats what i love about you thanks

For everyone without Necro/addon: All you have to do is to get to level 18 as fast as possible. Then you can get diamonds from boss bounty chests. Using the Necro is fastest to get to level 18 and the fastest to kill those bosses, that's the whole point of this video.

Just tested it. My altar is already maxed but my necro was lvl 20 reaching the cube and it took about 40 minutes for my DH to make lvl 70. Great video as usual. I am sure I did not use all the drops from a challenge rift cache and I did start running rifts at lvl 60. I had problems keeping my kill streaks going - the highest streaks were only around 300. My fault entirely. I ain't that good LOL

I am tempted to save the cash even as a total casual. Usually for season start, Blizz gives a really easy CR. With my luck, the following one or even two will be clusterfucks that I just can't beat.

Still wish they implemented some qol for console users. Still having to spam A for 10+ minutes combining gems is heartbreaking, same with spamming bloodshards. Would save so much more time that can be used for grinding GRs or blasting bounties

Why salvage the Templar's gear when you are using the CR cache and getting mats anyway? You're missing out on 0.7dps! I guess in this case you could argue the +1xp per kill on the axe is worth it but generally you only need to salvage Templar gear if you're not using your CR cache. Le minmax.

What you also can add is the Skeletal Mage with Gift of Death rune which makes them leave a corpse after they expire after 6 seconds. Just as another source of corpses. That's what i added to this.

About 5 or 6 seasons ago - I was missing ONE ancient piece. I had the complete set ancient and augmented except the hands. I spent 6 weeks gambling all my shards, doing rifts etc and couldn't get an ancient. Even when I tried using the recipe, I got complete rubbish stats (just imagine the worst you could think of) one the only ancient one I finally got after those 6 weeks of playing every day. I ended up throwing that set in the trash and re rolled another toon.

You 100% have to use the cache in my opinion I just tested a "vanilla" run and had several issues: 1. Going in with grey+follower gear once you get to lvl 2 of Ruins the levelup hits you and you then get one-shot by every mob (at least on master) 2. You then kinda have to scale it down to hard until you hit 18 to kill Kulle which will also be difficult cause grey gear 3. You dont have the blue mats to get the 2nd node (so you have to go for chests or get lucky drops/farm them) 4. Even if you get the 2nd node you dont have enough gold to level the smith to craft lvl 60 gear (or any gear higher then your current level) 5. You also lack mats to craft any "higher" gear since you spend all the blue mats you got your hands on for the 2nd node So I think the Raxx-method is definitely the way to go next season

Also the challenge cache turn in isn't until fairly deep in the rewards so you still get all the potion nodes and such and are still a god. Oh no, two days without some of the back half. Who cares? If anything most people won't be able to fully utilize the latter half immediately anyway as you need a lot of currency and time consuming items like the Staff of Herding or an Ancient Puzzle Ring and other things. All of these you can work towards "ahead of time" waiting for the monday cache.

I guess the use/dont use argument might be mainly for streamers/people who play a lot, as you might run into the "cache wall", but most average players will be fine just waiting a day or two for the new challenge rift to go live. + you can also farm all the things you need for unlocks after the cache ahead of time
