Thirteen years after Yang Jian (known to some as Erlang Shen) imprisoned his sister beneath a mountain, the once powerful god now scrapes by as a penniless bounty hunter. When a mysterious woman hires him for a new job, Yang Jian soon finds himself chasing down a familiar figure. I appreciate Light Chaser's commitment to their franchise. I just wish Enlight Pictures would finish theirs. Jiang Ziya got pulled from theaters prematurely because of the pandemic, so they haven't continued it. At least Light Chaser isn't just parroting them.

GKIDS, please release Green Snake and New Gods: Nezha Reborn on Blu-ray. I know Netflix has the streaming rights but maybe a deal with Netflix and Light Chaser can be arranged to bring the sequel and prequel over on Blu-ray.

They don't really have any story leading to this one but the production team made 2 movies before this one. White snake and green snake. They're honestly really good story line and worth the watch. I enjoyed green snake more.
