I usually prefer a mower you can sit down on and relax, but this new Grasshopper stand-on mower is pretty darn cool! We're getting a sneak peek at the features of this brand new machine, so buckle up for some real lawn mower nerdery!

I rode on this and the Bobcat 52. End of the day the GH is design is just all around weird..first off the transmission is total overkill, and this was likely used in favor of the deck design with the motor. I've had many machines that the deck moves independantly of the motor and never had premature belt wear, ever. Why would you want a tranmission that is overkill, you pay for it btw. The Bobcat is equally well built, in some areas better and the HG transmissions are smooth as butter, zero jerky-ness. LEDs, who cares, you can mount any old LED to any mower, it's not a selling point at all. Gas tanks that interfere with VERY important adjustment points, no thanks. Non EFI engine that is underpowered, no thanks...Bobcat 52 absolutely the superior machine and better overall package.

A cup holder that doesn’t hold anything while mowing with a cheap hinge that breaks very easy.

Hardly anything unique. HUSQVARNA has the same “ unique” engine in deck design. Came out about six years ago. I laughed watching this. LOL. Thanks for telling us about those LED lights. Totally unique. The fact it has a different hydro pump compared to other brands is about the only “unique” feature. 52” & 60” isn’t unique. Show me a 32” or 34”. Much harder to engineer. Few companies make those yet 30+ companies make a 52”. Bah. DOA!!!
