He also doesn't seem to take advantage of zombies bunching up (if your in the right spot) by stairs. Just stand there, throw a couple nades and clear out half the spawns on low levels. That and do the "one room challenge" for as long as you can. Using the door as a fallback point might let him skip buying the BAR.

I would recommend watching some other youtubers about that like JayzTwoCents or Bitwit or Paul's Hardware they can teach you about what is the best bang for your buck and also Noah has a 1080 and right now because of gpu mining they are way over priced like $300-$400 over msrp so I suggest waiting for the prices to drop.
